Raid Shadow Legends: Thylessia Champion Guide

Thylessia is an epic force affinity champion from the knights revenant faction in Raid Shadow Legends. Her A1 brings a debuff spread effect, which is a little different than most skill sets, as traditionally this effect would be found on non-active skills. One of the biggest values behind having Thylessia in your team is that she has an AOE 100% decrease defence debuff, which doesn’t require book outside of the cooldown placed on it. She also extends the debuffs on her A2, so she can be ran completely unbooked, although booking her will of course increase performance. Overall, Thylessia is an effective champion all-round and can fit efficiently into almost any dungeon carry team without needing to invest heavily into upgrades or booking progression.

Thylessia Late Game Guide

Thylessia is a Force Affinity Epic champion from the Knights Revenant Faction. Like many Attack champions, Thylessia is very fragile. Her Defence is good for an Epic Attack Champion, but her base HP is exceptionally low. She has two AOE abilities, one to place AOE 60% Dec Def and one to extend the duration of debuffs on all enemies by 1 turn. When booked, both of her skills are on a 3 turn cooldown, meaning that she is a viable choice for a Stun set. She is a good but not exceptional damage dealer, and can benefit if built for damage with sets such as Cruel, Savage, or Fatal, along with Perception and Accuracy gear to meet the required Accuracy to apply her debuffs.

This guide will showcase her in Dragon 25, Hard Doom Tower wave content, and stage 21 of the Knights Revenant Faction Crypt.

Masteries

Thylessia has been built here with Masteries from the Offence and Support trees. Although damage isn’t this build’s primary purpose, she’s been built with some of the usual Offense tree Masteries down to Helmsmasher – she could also be built with Flawless Execution for more Critical Damage. The Support Masteries are geared towards her role as a debuffer, picking the standard accuracy and stat increasing masteries into Evil Eye and Master Hexer to extend debuff duration.

Gear & Stats Build

In this guide, she is built in a Stun set with an Immortal set. As mentioned, she has two AOE abilites on a 3 turn CD, so having her in stun set can be very beneficial on controlling the waves.

The most important stats to have on her is Speed and Accuracy. Thylessia needs to be built fast enough to place her AOE Decrease Def before your Nuker goes, usually around 220+ and enough accuracy to land her debuffs 225+ for Dungeon 20+ content. She is capable of doing damage so, once you reach the required speed and accuracy and if your team rarely gets attacked by the enemies, you can start building her damage to help speed up the run. Her build is very flexible and it’s up to you on how you want to build her

Faction War 21

Thylessia is the only non-legendary champion in the Knights Revenant faction with AoE Decrease Defence, which makes her extremely valuable for this faction which is notorious for being very difficult.

Although she is a negative affinity to the Martyrs and Valkyries who are the main threats on the first two waves. Her AoE debuffs and the benefit of the Stun set mean that she can enable a faction team built for damage, as brought by Skullcrown, Whisper and to a somewhat lesser extent Narma and Sinesha. Narma and Sinesha also bring healing to enable the team to get through to the end.

Dragon 25

In Dragon 25, Thylessia is providing support alongside damage champions Yannica and Ma’Shallad, debuffer Venus and top-tier Epic Support Champion Ursala.

Team Build

  1. Ursala increases the damage of the team, keeps them alive and picks them up if something goes wrong.
  2. Venus supplies several debuffs, including poisons which are vital for beating the dragon at the end.
  3. Yannica and Ma’Shallad offer damage, some control and Leech debuffs.
  4. Thylessia’s role here is to offer a little more control with her Stun set and to extend debuffs, which makes defeating all the waves and the boss stable and relatively easy.

Dragon 20

This Dragon 20 run is shown in order to demonstrate how Thylessia’s passive, which can place Hex debuffs on targets with Decrease Defence debuffs, can support other Hex champions. At the time of writing these are Ruel the Huntmaster, Thea the Tomb Angel and Cleopterix.

The cycle of Venus debuffing, Ursala increasing Attack, and Thylessia placing Hexes allows Thea, normally a lacklustre damage dealer, to clear the waves much more quickly. Against the Dragon himself, Thylessia and Vizier ensure that the various debuffs, most importantly Poison and Decrease Attack, don’t expire.

Spider 25

Achak the Wendarin supplies turn meter control and crowd control, Miscreated Monster shields. While Tyrant Ixlimor delivers an AoE HP Burn and Scyl of the Drakes tanks damage, stuns the spiderlings and slows the Spider down. Thylessia delivers more control, adds the Decrease Defence debuff that enables larger shields for Miscreated Monster, and extends debuffs (meaning the the crucial Decrease Speed debuff never falls off).

Doom Tower Waves

While she’s a bit too fragile to be pitted against the bosses in the Doom Tower, Thylessia’s utility for control and debuffing makes her useful even some of the hardest Doom Tower wave content. Here she’s in a team facing one of the trickiest floors in the Frost Spider rotation – floor 112, the “Wall of Tormins” level.

Thylessia is very much a team player here. Ursala the Mourner is the speed lead and revives the team several times. While Lydia provides multiple buffs and debuffs and prevents some of the multiple Tormins from reviving. Psylar controls turn meter (and, in a Stun set, supplies a bit of control) and finally Brogni has the role to protect and block debuffs placed on the team.

Again, Thylessia throws out and extends debuffs and helps with some crowd control. It’s a slow run, and without access to champions like Seer needs to be completed manually. But Thylessia here helps deal with an exceptionally difficult level, and in the final result, even after dying multiple times, she has done about twice as much damage as anyone else on the team.
