Raid Shadow Legends: Sandlashed Survivor Champion Guide

Sandlashed Survivor is an epic spirit affinity champion from the Orcs faction in Raid Shadow Legends. She is one of the best epics in Raid, although, she often sails under the radar of many players. Sandlashed has great viability for content such as Ultra Nightmare Clan Boss, arena and faction wars, all of which will be covered in-depth during this champion guide. She can also prove a strong addition to level 20 dungeon run teams, with the capability of dealing high levels of damage.

Sandlashed Survivor Late Game Guide

Sandlashed Survivor is a useful, versatile hero that can be utilised in many areas of the game. She can be used in a 2 key UNM composition without unkillable and in high level Arena providing good survivability and additional utility.

Skills

First of all, it is worth noting her A2 that increases the duration of all buffs on allies, which will help us perfectly adapt her to the Clan Boss. Her passive skill places a 50% Ally Protection buff on all allies for 2 turns, will help save the life of our team in the Arena against formidable enemy damage dealers. Her passive places block damage on herself at the same time making it even harder for Speed based teams to punch through Defences with her on the team.

It is critical to book Sandlashed Survivor A2 to reduce the cooldown to 3 turns.

Her A1 provides conditional Provoke or Healing based on wherever she is under any debuffs. However, this is not too important for her in most cases.

Masteries

To make Sandlashed Survivor a versatile PVE champion, the best Masteries are Offense with Warmaster T6 to deal more damage to the Clan Boss and Defense with Blastproof, Delay Death branching to Retribution. Those masteries will help on the Clan Boss for survivability and Selfless Defender can play a significant role in the arena.

Gear & Stats Build

If you are using Sandlashed Survivor on CB without unkillable the best main set of artifacts will be Lifesteal and derivatives. The second set can be anything to get the necessary stats, in this case Resilience.

The main stats to focus on are Speed, DEF and HP. If you have a choice between DEF and HP, then look at the overall balance between these stats. In general, we are interested in DEF at around 4-5k and the rest can go in HP. The secondary ones are Crit Rate and Accuracy.

Recommended Main Stats:

  • Gloves – DEF%/HP%
  • Chest – DEF%
  • Boots – SPD or DEF%/HP% if you have already reached the required Speed
  • Ring – DEF/HP
  • Amulet – DEF/HP
  • Banner – DEF/HP

If possible, it is better to take Reaction Accessories if using in Arena.

Clan Boss Team

Here is an example of a fairly budget team of a 4:3 Counterattack team to 1-key NM and 2-key UNM Clan Boss:

  1. Sepulcher Sentinel with 240 Speed, lifesteal+speed sets + WM T6, for ATK Decreace debuff and also DEF and Block Debuffs buff.
  2. Skullcrusher with 191 Speed, lifesteal+speed sets + WM T6, for CounterAttack buff.
  3. Sandlashed Survivor with 181 Speed, lifesteal set + WM T6, for increasing the duration of all ally buffs.
  4. Frozen Banshee with 180 Speed, lifesteal set + WM T6, for Poisons.
  5. Rhazin Scarhide with 179 Speed, lifesteal set + GS T6, for DEF Decreace and Weaken debuffs.

The speed tune is made so that the Sepulcher Sentinel moves 4 times in 3 turns of the Boss, which allows you to loop her skill with a DEF Up and Block Debuffs buff that has a 4 turn cooldown.

Thanks to the Sandlashed Survivor’s bonus extension, the team has DEF Up buff before each Boss hit, as well as Block Debuffs before the second AOE and the Boss’s stun, which makes this team 100% affinity friendly. Also, when the Boss starts to hit hard enough, she will place her Ally Protection buff that will allow the team to last longer and deal some more damage.

Arena Team

Sandlashed Survivor has a great passive skill that can save your team from enemy damage dealers. She can be seen from time to time in defensive teams in Gold 5 and even Platinum.

There are two cases that can stop her in her tracks at the moment. The first is the Block Bonuses Debuff that could prevent the Ally Protection and Block damage. The second is Ramantu Drakesblood that removes buffs and places blocks passive skills debuff. Here is an example of a defensive team for Platinum League (although probably not the first option for Platinum reset):

  1. Prince Kymar in Stone Skin set for strip buff from enemies and refresh ally skills.
  2. Duchess Lilitu in Stone Skin set for the revival, ATK buff and Veil.
  3. Candraphon in Swift Parry set for dps.
  4. Sandlashed Survivor for saving the rest of the team in Lifesteal.

If you interested in Arena only it’s much better to use either Stoneskin or Immunity type sets as the first option or Bolster/Guardian/Frost sets as an alternative. In some battles where the enemy has a lot of debuffs a cleanser should be used.

Faction Wars

Sandlashed Survivor performs well in Faction Wars. She will help your damage dealers survive on the waves. Provoking enemies with your A1, she can disable a dangerous enemy. Buff extension will help you kill the faction boss faster.

The only negative point is that the boss on FW 21 can steal ally’s protection from your team and your champions attacking the boss will deal damage to Sandlashed Survivor instead. If you are lucky enough to have Seer though, the buffs will remove all of them frequently enough. If you don’t have Seer you should play carefully. Here is an example of a team for the 21st stage of the faction wars:

  1. Sandlashed Survivor for team survivability.
  2. Seer for dps.
  3. Zargala for def debuff and dps.
  4. Old Hermit Jorrg for revival and useful buffs.
  5. Iron Brago for Def Up buff, Atk Down debuff and provoking enemies on the waves.
