Raid Shadow Legends: Roshcard the Tower Champion Guide

Roshcard the Tower is a legendary magic affinity champion from the sacred order faction in Raid Shadow Legends. He comes with quite a unique ability, which allows him to protect the entire team for 2 turns, negating all potential incoming damage by 100%. It can still be removed or cleansed by enemies, however, it still remains super strong around raid. Roshcard is a fantastic all-round champion to have at your disposal in Raid. Making a viable addition to most of the different types of content. Although, he will excel in areas such as Clan Boss, especially for unkillable teams.

Roshcard the Tower End Game Build Guide

Roshcard the Tower is one of two champions in 2022 that can cast a 2-turn Block Damage buff on allies. This makes him a core champion that can enable unkillable for Clan Boss and Iron Twins among other uses. He can block the damage from the boss and is able to ensure the survivability of the team on the boss for 50 turns as well as Iron Twins at the highest difficulty. The UNM teams can work on full auto on Brutal, NM and UNM and 1 key them with good equipment.

There are a number of Unkillable compositions utilising him capable of downing UNM Clan Boss. Depending on the speed that you can build on your champions, as well as your full roster he can fit into multiple team setups.

Skills

Unfortunately, in addition to the block damage, Roshcard will not be able to help you in other ways on the Clan Boss, his A1 – can remove 1 random buff from the enemy, and A2 – imposes Block Buffs and Block Active Skills debuffs on the enemy, which will even interfere with the Clan Boss, since a Block Buffs debuff will take 1 slot for debuffs. It is recommended to block it using the AI team settings. A3 is the bread and butter or Roshcard and should be booked ASAP if you’re to use him.

Masteries

For an optimal build on Clan Boss and PVE Warmaster T6 is needed in the Offence tree and the second branch can be Defense with Deterrence to counterattack the boss when he places a Stun on an ally. Support as a second branch is only suitable if you need to increase the speed with the help of Lore of Steel mastery. But be careful of Lore of Steel and any other Turn Meter increasing masteries to make sure it does not mess up your Speed tune on CB. Check with the CB calculator if you’re having trouble as Speed sets and Lore of steel can lead to rounding errors.

Gear & Stats Build

Since we will be looking at Roshcard in the Unkillable team your first order of business is to select which composition you will be using him in. Once you have done that, reaching the required Speed is the next priority. After those conditions are fulfilled, his gear should be aimed at increasing his damage.

Savage or Lethal sets are a luxury choice, but you can take any other sets like Speed, Perception or Resilience. The only condition is that sets and accessories do not manipulate the Turn Meter or skills cooldown reduction. In this build, the Roshcar needs to be fast, so he is wearing 3 Speed sets.

Note that if you’re aiming strictly for CB you can replace the main stats on the Chest, Ring and Banner to ATK% and ATK due to Roshcard A1 scaling with ATK and A2 scaling with HP

Recommended Main Stats

  • Gloves – Crit Damage or Crit Rate if you can’t reach 100% Crit Rate with Crit Damage Gloves
  • Chest – HP%
  • Boots – Speed
  • Ring – HP
  • Amulet – Crit Damage
  • Banner – HP

Revenge accessories are a luxury options for extra dps on CB.

Clan Boss Team & Strategy

This featured team has 2 champions with block damage mechanics. You can choose another team variant where Roshcard is the only champion with this mechanic if you’d like. In order to make this team 100% affinity friendly, you should use a cleanser or block debuff champion. Maximum damage variant is showcased here instead of a cleanser or block debuff version.

  1. Roshcard the Tower for Block Damage buff with 266 speed.
  2. Helicath for Block Damage buff with 247 speed.
  3. Seeker for Increase ATK buff and turn meter boost with 250 speed.
  4. Aina for Decrease DEF, Weaken debuffs and dps with 248 speed.
  5. Marksman for Poisons dps with 224 speed.

End Game Dungeon Runs

Dragon 20

Roshcard can’t boast against most dungeon bosses except the Twins covered on the next page, but he does a great job of helping the team on the waves by blocking the damage of enemies. In the Dragon Lair, Roshcard can also block damage from strong boss attacks that can kill weak damage dealers. Here is an example composition for Dragon 20 with no revive:

  1. Tayrel for Decrease DEF + Decrease АТК debuffs.
  2. Apothecary for SPD buff and healing.
  3. Tallia for dps.
  4. Roshcard for Block Damage buff.
  5. Frozen Banshee to quickly kill the Dragon with Poisons.

Ice Golem 20

The Ice Golem is the most unpredictable boss due to how hard it Counterattacks after reaching certain HP thresholds. Roshcard, in addition to protecting our team on the waves, will help block damage against dangerous boss attacks. Here is an example composition for Ice Golem 20 with no revival champion:

  1. Tayrel for Decrease DEF + Decrease АТК debuffs.
  2. Apothecary for SPD buff and healing.
  3. Tallia for dps.
  4. Roshcard for Block Damage buff.
  5. Frozen Banshee to quickly kill the Golem with Poisons

Spider 20

In the Spider’s Den, Roscard has one task – to block the damage from the spiderlings while our team kills the boss. This is an example of a team for 20 lvl of Spider’s Den:

  1. Roshcard for Block Damage buff;
  2. Renegade for allies cooldown Decrease;
  3. Tayrel for Decrease DEF debuff;
  4. Double Coldhearts for max HP damage and TM depletion;

Fire Knight 20

For the Fire Knight, Roshcard is not the best option, he has the Magic affinity, while on the 20th floor there is a boss with Force affinity. Another disadvantage is that Roscard does not have multi-hit skills and will not help to lower the boss’s shield faster. However, Block Damage buff can save our damage dealers on the waves and against dangerous boss attacks. This is an example of a team for Fire Knight 20:

  1. Stag Knight for AOE Decrease DEF & ATK and SPD debuffs;
  2. Apothecary for SPD buff and healing;
  3. Roshcard for Block Damage buff;
  4. Zargala for dps on waves;
  5. Armiger to decrease the turn meter and quickly kill the Boss with MAX HP skill.

Faction Wars Team & Strategy

The 21st floor of the Faction Wars of the Sacred Order is guarded by a rather unpleasant boss. Its main feature is ally minion attack. The one on the right ignores Defense when attacking, which makes it a strong damage dealer. Roshcard can save the team from damage completely with his Block Damage buff. With Roshcard, it is quite easy to go through all the floors of the Faction Wars without losses if you manual. Here is an example of a team that made it through level 21:

  1. Roshcard the Tower for Block Damage buff.
  2. Godseeker Aniri for revive and healing.
  3. Deacon Armstrong for Decrease DEF debuff and tm manipulation.
  4. Abbess for AOE Decrease DEF debuff and dps.
  5. Tallia for dps.

Iron Twins Fortress Team & Strategy

Roshcard the Tower has found great use on the Iron Twins Fortress dungeon thanks to the Block Damage buff, it serves as the backbone of an unkillable team that can deal damage to the boss without taking damage for reliable clears. There are several variants of teams with Roshcard the Tower with different champions and speed tunes. We will consider a fairly budget team in terms of champions. Here is an example of such a team:

  • Roshcard the Tower for Block Damage buff with speed 250+, in this case 272 and must be have fully booked A3, can be without masteries.
  • Pain Keeper x 3 for Decreasing the cooldown of Roshcards block damage skill with 179 – 182 speed. In this case we use 241 and 250 speed and also replace one PK with Yumeko with 274 speed and its all work okay. She is not required. Must be with fully booked A3, can be without masteries.
  • Geomancer for dps with 220 speed. He can be replaced by any MAX HP dps like Coldheart, Armiger, Husk, Royal Guard, HP Burn champion like Drexthar or Poisoner like Occult Brawler without masteries or books requirements.

Arena Team & Strategy

At the Arena, Roscard can play two roles:

  1. The first is in high-speed teams, where his task is to take a turn before enemy dps and cast Block Damage buff on all allies to prevent damage. A fairly simple tactic, but most teams use buff stripers, that easily defeats such a strategy with Roshcard if you’re not using high-level Polymorph awakening on your team.
  2. The second tactic utilises his A2 Block Active Skills and Block Buffs debuffs that cannot be resisted. This can work even against champions with an effective Resistance rating over a thousand like some Mithrala builds. Our goal is to block Mithrala’s skills and prevent her from using cleanse on her allies. Of course, against immunity-type sets, this tactic will not work.

A strong team to enter gold 5 arena and their roles would be as follows:

  1. Arbiter for tm boost.
  2. Prince Kymar for Remove all buffs and applying the Sleep debuff.
  3. Roshcard the Tower for Block Active Skills and Block Buffs debuffs.
  4. Trunda Giltmallet for dps.
