Raid Shadow Legends: Kunoichi Champion Guide

Kunoichi is an epic champion from the Shadowkin faction in Raid Shadow Legends. She operates as a budget version of Kyoku, primarily used to give the team weaken and ally protection with an AOE leech. For players who are unable to access legendary champions such as Kyoku, Ninja, Jintoro and Genzin, then this champion will be a go to for the final shadowkin Faction Wars boss. Since this boss in particular will completely ignore defence, its optimal to have defensive protectors such as Kunoichi in your team build.

Although, outside of faction wars Kunoichi can also be a successful champion to add to your team. Enabling your team to stay alive for longer, with an AOE leech and strong clan boss protector. This guide will cover Kunoichi in the mid game and late game, including build information and optimal team setups.

Kunoichi Mid Game Guide

Kunoichi is an Epic Defense based champion that many newcomers to raid and early-mid game players had gotten by entering first in the series raid shadow legends promo code from Amazon Prime Gaming and Plarium.

It’s worth noting right away that the champion is good and has useful skills, both at the beginning and later on in the game. However, it’s not worth making her the first lvl 60 champion. Kunoichi takes a long time to farm 12-3 brutal unlike Starter rare champions. Additionally booking and ascending an epic champion requires much more resources. Levelling her up to 40 or 50 first is the better option to accompany your starter champion in dungeons.

This guide is aimed at getting acquainted with Kunoichi and what new players should focus on while leveling this champion and using her after the early game.

Skills

Let’s start with what Kunoichi’s skills tell us about her PvE orientation. A3 places Ally Protection buff that will help increase the survivability of allies, and the passive will place a Block Damage buff on Kunoichi if her health drops below 50%. Her A1 boasts a Weaken debuff, and her A2 is an AOE attack with decent damage that places a Leech debuff on enemies. If the allies attack an enemy with this debuff, they heal for 10% of the damage dealt making it about half as effective as a lifesteal set.

Masteries

Since Kunoichi place debuffs, she needs Accuracy, so our Masteries selections will be Offense and Support. On the Offense, we are interested in Warmaster T6 mastery that will allow us to deal good damage to bosses. On the Support branch, we take masteries that increase Accuracy and aim at Master Hexer to extend the duration of debuffs. Sniper to increase the chance of placing Weaken. No TM increasing masteries can be selected since most of the Clan Boss teams require strict moves order, and this will disrupt the rotation of moves.

To begin with, it will be enough to take masteries up to T3 on the Support branch.

Gear & Stats Build

Maximum versatility can be achieved in early and midgame with a Lifesteal set. Any other secondary set can be used to get the necessary stats, in this case Speed set but Perception from the Forge for more Accuracy.

Recommended Main Stats

  • Gloves – HP%/ DEF%.
  • Chest – HP%/ DEF%.
  • Boots – Speed
  • Ring – HP/ DEF.
  • Amulet – HP/ DEF.
  • Banner – Accuracy.

If you’re struggling to get enough Accuracy you can use the Chest with it as the main stat.

Dragon’s Lair

Kunoichi, thanks to her defensive skills, is great for the Dragon’s Lair dungeon progression. Her task is to increase the survivability of the team thanks to Ally Protection buff both on the waves and on the Boss itself and her Weaken debuff will help to kill opponents faster. She can help you clear this dungeon on a budget.

Team Build

Here is an example composition for Dragon 11:

  1. Kunoichi for Ally Protection buff and useful debuffs;
  2. Apothecary for SPD buff and healing;
  3. Elhain for dps;
  4. Warmaiden for Decrease DEF debuff;
  5. Kael for Poisons dps.

You can improve this composition by including a better Poisoner then Kael for faster farming.

Ice Golem’s Peak

Kunoichi is decent in Ice Golem’s Peak dungeon too. Her task is to increase the survivability of the team thanks to Ally Protection buff. This is especially important on the boss itself who can hit very hard.

Team Build

Here is an example budget composition for Ice Golem 11:

  1. Kunoichi for Ally Protection buff and useful debuffs;
  2. Apothecary for SPD buff and healing;
  3. Elhain for dps;
  4. Warmaiden for Decrease DEF debuff;
  5. Kael for Poisons dps.

Fire Knight’s Castle

Fire Knight’s Castle is the one dungeon where Kunoichi doesn’t do well. She has no multi-hits to help take down the boss’s shield faster, and doesn’t have debuffs like Decrease SPD and ATK that could justify a spot on the team.

Nevertheless, she is not useless here at least on the lower levels. On the waves and on the Boss itself, she helps keep the team alive and Weaken debuff will speed up the boss’s farm. When making a team, you need to take several champions with multi-hits.

Team Build

Here is an example of a budget composition for Fire Knight 7:

  1. Kunoichi for Ally Protection buff and useful debuffs;
  2. Apothecary for SPD buff, multi-hits and healing;
  3. Elhain for dps;
  4. Warmaiden for Decrease DEF debuff;
  5. Kael for some dps.

Kunoichi Late Game Guide

Kunoichi is an interesting Epic shadowkin champion with high potential. In the Late Game setting she can skill be useful in certain areas of the game.

Skills

All her skills are focused on PvE content. Her A3 places an Ally Protection buff, and her passive will not let you die easily by applying Block Damage buff if her health drops below 50%. Kunoichi also boasts a Weaken debuff on A1, as well as an AOE attack on A2 that applies a Leech debuff to opponents.

In this guide, we will look at the standard PvE build and consider under what conditions she can be useful in a Clan Boss team. Kunoichi has a high cooldown on her skills, so if you do decide to use her at least her A3 must be fully booked.

Masteries

For best results on CB and other Bosses Warmaster T6 mastery is the number one choice for her. Single Out from the Offense branch and other damage increasing masteries are a good choice. For the second branch it is better to take Support with the Sniper and Master Hexer, to extend the duration of debuffs and increase the chance of placed a Weaken debuff on A1.

On CB we will use a strict speed tune, so no TM increasing masteries can be selected in order not to break the speed tune.

Gear & Stats Build

Lifesteal set is a classical PvE option to pair with Warmaster. Any other secondary set can be used to get the necessary stats, in this case Immortal set to increase champion survivability. Perception is another popular set from the Forge to meet the Accuracy requirements.

Target stats depend on the team you will use Kunoichi in. Specifically, in this case the speed tune will be 143-153. This is due to her A3 filling the turn meter by 50%, so by lowering Kunoichi speed we maintain the correct rotation of moves in the Clan Boss team later on when the CB stats to hit much harder, otherwise it will break the tune and end the run prematurely.

Due to the low speed, players with good artifacts can reach the desired speed without SPD boots main stat and can replace the with HP% or DEF%. We need to reach around 230 Accuracy and Speed tune for UNM CB in the case 153, then focus on Health, Defense and Crit Rate. The rest of the stats are not that important. Try to avoid Crit Damage stats.

Recommended Main Stats

  • Gloves – HP%/DEF%;
  • Chest – HP%/DEF%.
  • Boots – HP%/DEF%/SPD.
  • Ring – HP/DEF.
  • Amulet – HP/DEF.
  • Banner – ACC.

Сan’t use Refresh Accessories in this speed tune on her as this would mess up the timings.

Here is an example of a team for farming Crypt 21:

  1. Kunoichi for Ally Protection buff and Leech debuff;
  2. Burangiri for Stun and Provoke debuffs;
