Raid Shadow Legends: Jizoh Champion Guide

Jizoh is an epic champion from the Lizard Men faction in Raid Shadow Legends. He is a login reward for 14 days of playing, so can be received for free and very easily. Although, his uses are generally fairly limited, Jizoh proves himself useful in early game arena and clan boss. But, as you progress your account he will become less and less useful. His ability to protect your champion and give them a counter-attack is his best feature. It is not recommended to invest in books or masteries with this champion as he will be used for a limited amount of time.

Jizoh Early Game Guide

Jizoh is one of the first Champions you are guaranteed to get, and he has some versatility compared to Shaman, making him good for early game raid progression. However, he falls off pretty quickly due to high investment requirement and low output.

For this Guide, we will look at Jizoh in Clan Boss and how to effectively use him to increase your early dps and get better rewards quickly. We will also explore his flaws and why he gets replaced relatively quickly in your playthrough.

The most common advice for new players when leveling up and progressing is to invest 800 Gems into their starter Champion followed by 1500 to fully upgrade the Gem Mine. Because of this, often Jizoh won’t actually have Masteries and it’s not recommended to heavily invest into him, as by the stage you have done one of the first 2 things and you will have most likely replaced him. For this reason, its not advisable to give him Masteries at all. However, if you want to invest in him a brief rundown + Screenshot is provided below.

Masteries

Jizoh at a glance looks like a Champion that does damage. He puts Counter-Attack on himself, he provokes the Enemies to hit him so he Counter-Attacks and he hits 2 times when he attacks back. However, because the starter champions are so good, and you can choose who you put the Counter-Attack on, its actually better to look at him as more of a champion that Supports your team, rather than the flashy Champion that carries the team.

The Offense tree pics are very simple, they are all increases dps. The main T6 Mastery vs bosses including Clan Boss is Warmaster because it scales on the enemies MAX health.

For the Support tree Shield increases on the left side are picked, because we treat Jizoh as a Champion that Supports our starter (such as Kael). We also take Lasting Gifts as Continuous Heal is actually a “Buff” and not a “Heal” so Masteries that increase “Healing” don’t help it at all. However, Lasting Gifts extends how long Buffs last. We also take Cycle of Magic because we want him to use his second skill (A2) more often.

Gear & Stats Build

The guide was written on a late game account, so to compensate in terms of stats to showcase Jizoh, only 2 pieces of gear were used, the Boots and Helmet.

Our goal is just to make Jizoh go fast and survive as long as we can, so that he can keep the Counter-Attack Buff up on our starter Champion for as long as possible before dying. This means that after we get Speed, we need Defense and Health to keep him alive. You will also want some Accuracy on him for the Provoke – Just be aware, with 2 main exceptions, you can’t Provoke bosses, so it will mainly be for waves of Enemies, like in Dungeons or Campaign.

In terms of gear Heiress is in a Toxic set because this team has no Poisons. It’s preferable to have someone applying them for additinal damage. Demytha Speed requirements are high, and the rest of your champs are more or less big hitters, so Heiress is the one left.

Recommended Main Stats

  • Gloves: Defense%/HP%
  • Chest: Accuracy/HP%/Defense%
  • Boots: Speed
  • Ring: Health/Defense
  • Amulet: Health/Defense
  • Banner: Accuracy/Defense/Health

Recommended Sets

Once you start getting Immortal Sets from Clan Boss, use them along with Speed Sets. No set is really wrong for Jizoh, especially early, just make sure you don’t use your Lifesteal Starter Gear on him – This should always go to your Starter Champion unless you pull someone better than them.

The 2 pieces of items below are intentional. The Boots are Speed Main Stat – You can know this by clicking on the Boots, and the Main Stat will be the big white text one at the top, just below the coloured box saying if its Legendary (Orange), Epic (Purple), Rare (Blue), Uncommon (Green), Common (White).

The Helmet was used because it has 17 Speed in the Substats (the smaller white text below the Main Stat).
