Raid Shadow Legends: Hope Champion Guide

Hope is an epic magic affinity champion from the sacred order faction in Raid Shadow Legends. She is a decent champion in a number of different areas around the game. She is able to cast shields with her A2 ability, the shield will apply to your entire team. While her A3 ability has a 50% chance to clan the buffs of enemy teams, which is also particularly strong. She can be used in a number of different scenarios as already suggested, although, she is great in faction wars and doom tower teams. Furthermore, she can also be strong in arena and dungeon raids such as Ice Golem 20.

Hope Late Game Build Guide

Hope is essentially as a mini version of Sethallia that removes buffs and has high HP so she can place big shields for some team survivability. This build is focused on Accuracy (ACC) to be able to have the highest chance to remove enemy buffs and to increase the strength of the shields she places. The ACC won’t only be useful to remove buffs, but also to enable her to place block buffs on her A1 skill.

Masteries

The choice of masteries is focused mainly in reinforcing her role of buff remover/shield placer. Eagle Eye was chosen to make the buff removing more effective and then a combination of ACC, buff extension and maximising the size of the shields with the support tree. Sniper is important for increasing the chances of landing debuffs as they are not 100% at their base. The Defense mastery tree is secondary and it’s build around lasting longer and making it harder for the enemies to strip her own buffs with additional resistance. Decreasing the damage she’ll receive, to make the shields on herself last longer is the goal.

Gear & Stats Build

The featured Hope build is focused mainly on Faction Wars and 3vs3 Arena (Serris plays a similar role).

Her high base HP allows the shields to be quite large, and Shield Set has been chosen to add an extra shield at the beggining of the battles for extra safety. Her 31% HP Aura on Faction Crypts will increase these shields even more allowing the team to make it easier through the waves. Both things are prioritised: HP, ACC and good SPD are needed if we plan on using her in arena.

Recommended Main Stats

  • Gloves. HP%
  • Chest: HP% / RES (if she’s used on RES compositions)
  • Boots: SPD
  • Ring: HP
  • Necklace: HP with ACC and RES
  • Banner: ACC with HP% and SPD

Uses for Hope

Hope needs to be fully booked to properly shine and to be able to have the highest chance to remove enemy buffs. She fills the role of an offensive buffer, that protects allies with big shield and also annoys the enemies. Shields of around 55k when she places her own shields on top of the shields from the set.

Hope is also great for Ice Golem, since her A3 can come in handy in removing the annoying reflect damage on the second wave of Golem 20. Her shields can absorb a lot of damage if we deal damage a little too fast to the boss itself.

For arena she can work very well if we have high-end gear specially on RES comps, because she can both remove enemy buffs (Sethallia and Serris will be too squishy for this) and place high shields to make the job even harder for the enemies that don’t have buff removal.

She has been tested against Miscreated Monster to see if she is able to absorb enough damage on Spiders 20, but unfortunately with her 71k HP the shields aren’t nearly as big, so in the late game Dragon, Spider or FK aren’t the dungeons where she excels compared to other champions.
