Raid Shadow Legends: Harima Champion Guide

Harima is a legendary force affinity champion from the shadowkin faction in Raid Shadow Legends. She is a fantastic high-hitting tank with the ability to crowd control effectively in Raid. Her A3 is a heavy hitter in terms of damage out-put and can be used to place a provoke debuff on demonspawn champions without the chance of it being blocked. Pairing both purgative punishment and increase defence is optimal as it allows you to stack up to 100% defence and decrease your opponents defence by up to 30%. Overall she is a brilliant champion to use in the arena and faction wars, of which we will cover in this guide. She is also strong in PVE areas such as clan boss and doom tower.

Harima Late Game Arena Guide

Harima is a Force affinity legendary from the Shadowkin faction and is considered one of the best non-void Arena champions in the game. Her important trait is that she is Defense based. This makes her much more durable than most damage dealers. She has a good synergy of her skills and can counter some of the problematic meta champions in the game.

With the introduction of Live Arena, she has become even more valuable as she fills in the role of a DPS and a support to keep your team alive. This guide will focus on her nuker build that you can build and not her pure tank build for Plat defence that could be a subject of a separate Guide.

Skills

Her A1 attack one enemy and places Decrease ATK debuff on the target or on all enemies with small chance. This skill good for PvE content but for PvP we don’t build around it. Harima’s A2 have triple hit, each hit decrease target DEF by 5% and increase her own DEF by 5% also instantly activates the A3 if this skill kills an enemy. While her A3 attacks all enemies and places a Provoke debuff for 1 turn. This debuff cannot be blocked or resisted if the champion is from the Demonspawn faction, a very popular faction in the arena.

Her passive skill is very strong, she decreases enemies ignore DEF effects by 50%. Champions from the Demonspawn faction cannot inflict critical hits on Harima and she cannot land weak hits on champions from the Demonspawn faction.

In order to get maximum damage we need books in all her skills, but it is especially important to have books in A3 and A2. In terms of awakenings Polymorph is the best blessing for Defense and also because there is no good blessing for a Defensive nuker

Masteries

For masteries, Offense and Defense trees are typically picked. Offense tree for Helmsmasher T6 mainly for a DPS with over 230% Crit Damage. Cycle of Violence can help cycle skills faster and Opportunist is good if used alongside a Stun set Ukko or Kymar. Defense tree offers damage mitigation and counter attacks are very useful for her A1.

Gear & Stats Build

Savage or Lethal sets for maximum damage is the number one choice but you can use any other sets such as Crit Rate, Resilience, Speed or even Defence. Our main focus are 100% Crit Rate, high DEF and Crit Damage. Even though she is a Def based nuker, Cruel is still best in slot for secondary set if you have the correct pieces as the 5% Ignore Def boost the damage significantly. Crit Damage and Killstroke are other alternatives for this type of build.

No accuracy is required and try to not worry about speed in a go-second setup. Therefore, if no speed tuning or accuracy is needed, full damage build should aim for 5-6k attack, 260+% crit damage, 200ish speed, and of course 100% crit rate, making this build reasonably easy to achieve for end game players.

Recommended Main Stats

  • Gloves – Crit Damage or Crit Rate if you can’t reach 100% Crit Rate with Crit Damage Gloves.
  • Chest – Defense%
  • Boots – Speed/Defense%
  • Ring – Defense with DEF% in substats
  • Amulet – Crit Damage
  • Banner – Defense with DEF% and SPD in substats.

Revenge and Refresh Accessories for Harima can be used and are a good option to increase the damage.

Tactics in the Arena

In the arena, the tactics are quite simple. Harima’s main task is to deal damage, which is not difficult thanks to her synergy of skills that allow her to use an AOE attack twice. The second task is to apply Provoke debuff to enemies from the Demonspawn faction, such as Candraphon, Duchess Lilitu, Mortu-Macaab, Wythir the Crowned, Prince Kymar and other meta champions. Harima excels in defensive teams, so using her there is the best option.

Her ability to avoid weak hits on Duchess and applying Provoke through Block Debuffs is very interesting, and if used well, she can keep Duchess controlled continuously to slowly bring her down.

Team Composition

The team showcased here is a go second team, which seems like a natural choice considering her kit:

  • Pythion removes debuffs from the our team.
  • Mighty Ukko removes buffs from enemies
  • Mithrala place an Increase DEF buff and Harima attacks.

If the Enemy team has strong damage dealers, then two revivers should help revive the fallen allies.

Harimas Weaknesses

Harima has a few weaknesses you need to know to best counter the enemies:

  • Ramantu naturally disables her passive: this is the reason you stack Polymorph in your Def team, or run a fast enough cleanser
  • Bombs are not affected by her passive thus stacking Bolster or having an Immunity cleanser is very important
  • Conditional damage like Turvold far outweights his damage from Ignore Def effects, making him capable of killing champions through Harima’s passive, this is harder to counter but running both UDK and Harima alongside big shield can help surviving this.

Harima in Faction Wars

Harima also can be used on Faction Wars like a damage dealer or support in Shadowkin Faction. She can be an excellent damage dealer and her passive lowers the damage from Boss’ attacks. This is a fast clearing team but you could make it much more budget thanks to Harima that plays one of the key roles.

Team Compositions

  1. Yoshi for Atk Up.
  2. Harima for AOE damage.
  3. Jintoro for Decrease Def, Weaken and stealing turn meter.
  4. Ninja for fast HP burn activation on the boss.
  5. Kinagashi for support and revive.
