Raid Shadow Legends: Elegaius Champion Guide

Elegaius is a legendary magic affinity champion from the undead hordes faction in Raid Shadow Legends. He is generally viewed as a mid-tier legendary, but has plenty of applications and uses around the game. Elegaius is very effective in Arena Teams due to his ability to strip 2 buffs from all enemies, while also reducing their turn meter. However, to make good use of this ability, players will need to build him with accuracy in mind. If used effectively, Elegaius can be perfect for setting up your DPS champions to deal high hitting blows consistently. He is also strong in faction wars and dungeon raids, all of which will be covered in this champion guide.

Elegaius Late Game Build Guide

Elegaius is a Magic Support Legendary from the Undead Hordes. She was a fragment fusion and is quite unpopular because she is in a faction with many extremely powerful champions. However, she can be powerful to lockdown enemies if used correctly and can be the key to completing Faction Wars if you have not been blessed with alternative legendary pulls. This guide will showcase her in Faction Wars, Arena and Ice Golem 20.

Her kit is pretty unique but also impratical due to the conditions on her HP lost and is sadly outclassed even by some Epics. Her A2 put champion’s skills on cooldown and also affects any duplicates of that champion on waves. This makes Elegaius very powerful in Faction Wars stage 21 with multiple Valkyries. Her A3 removes 2 random buffs and also decreases TM of all enemies by 20%. This skill is also very strong against the Valkyries and useful in arena to remove Shields. Her passive is also interesting, preventing her from getting killed in one hit and is used in this showcase to tank the last Boss of Faction Wars.

Masteries

As a support champion you have 2 different possible builds : one purely for debuffing, especially in arena and one more for the boss fight. The build showcased is of the first category. If you plan on building Elegaius for her debuffs, Defense and Support trees are picked. Defense tree provides general damage mitigation and as a HP based champion, she can be built tankier to take some damage from her allies hence Selfless Defender on T5 of Defense tree. Support tree provides extra Accuracy, with Evil eye being very useful for extra TM control and Eagle Eye T6 very important for more Accuracy.

For a more hybrid build, you should go for Offense and Support, with T6 Warmaster if you need that extra damage against waves and bosses.

Gear & Stats Build

Gearing Elegaius is pretty straight forward as you only need Speed and Accuracy for her main utilities. That’s why, Speed and Perception are very good sets for her. For high end arena, if you plan on facing Tormin or Hegemon (where she can be pretty useful because she cannot be one shot by a nuke Hegemon) you should consider gearing her in Immunity-type sets.

In this build she is wearing Regeneration set for her specific role in Faction Wars. Her HP is also lower than the typical build to work as a tank so mobs and bosses target her. For stats, aim for 220+ Speed, ideally speed tuned with your booster and as much Accuracy as possible. For Dungeons and Faction Wars, you want 220+ Accuracy, for Arena you want as much as you can get.

Recommended Main Stats

  • Gloves: HP% (Crit Rate on this build to lower the HP to make enemies target her)
  • Chest: Accuracy/HP%
  • Boots: SPD
  • Ring: HP
  • Amulet: HP
  • Banner: Accuracy/HP

For accessories, Refresh accessories are very strong on her as she will be able to use her skills more often to lock out and effectively control TM of the enemies

Faction Wars Team & Strategy

Undead Hordes Faction Wars stage 21 is very tough as it has a very difficult waves with the Valkyries and an Ignore Defense Boss with damage based on enemy MAX HP. Elegaius offers a solution to both of these problems. The team showcased has:

  • Vogoth for AoE Provoke, Leech, Healing and offers protection with his Guardian set
  • Harvest Jack has AoE True Fear, Block Buffs and offers protection with his Shield set
  • Rotos offers DPS
  • Gorgorab offers Increase Attack, Increase TM and a Revive to ensure you get the 3 stars
  • And last but not least, Elegaius, the staple of this team. She can remove the Counter Attack from the enemies or prevent the Valks from using that skill altogether with her kit, making this wave fairly easy. On Boss, her passive prevents her from getting one shot, making her a viable tank to buy you time to kill the Boss. Regeneration set allows her to heal up in order to take more hits.

Arena Team & Strategy

In Arena Elegaius is showcased as a third TM champion, allowing your nuker to be slower and have more damage built. She is featured in a speed team against teams with buffs or shields (e.g. Krisk).

Elegaius’ main weakness is that she only removes 2 random buffs, so against heavy buffing teams, you cannot be sure you are removing the correct ones (Shield and Block Debuffs are the most important ones). If you’re running a speed offense team, this is not very problematic as the enemies would usually have Immunity and Shield at most with Immunity phasing out of defenses. However, Nekhret has changed this a bit with his passive protection that applies before the start of the round.

The team features the following champions with the following roles:

  1. Arbiter for Speed aura, TM boost and Increase Attack so your nuker hits harder
  2. Deacon for more TM control and Decrease Defense
  3. Elegaius for Buffs Removal and Decrease TM
  4. Skullcrown for AoE damage

Ice Golem 20 Team & Strategy

While Elegaius doesn’t offer much against Bosses, she is absolutely viable in Ice Golem stage 20 as the second wave has 2 Terrorbeasts. This wave can be a big problem once Reflect Damage is up, making your damage dealers kill themselves and prolonging the runs.

Elegaius can either prevent this with her A2 (sadly the AI does not target the Terrorbeast first) or remove those buffs with her A3. However, overall, she does not offer a lot of Crowd Control and Buffs Removal skills are not very useful in Dungeons content for the most part, making her use very limited in that area.

The team features the following champions with the following roles:

  1. Ursala for Increase Attack, Increase Defense, Strengthen, Decrease Attack and Revive
  2. Deacon for Speed aura, TM control and Decrease Defense
  3. Ghrush for DPS, Leech, Continuous Heal and Decrease Attack
  4. Fenax for DPS and Block Revive
  5. Elegaius for Block Active Skill, Increase Cooldown, Decrease TM and Buffs Removal
