Raid Shadow Legends: Deliana Champion Guide

Deliana is amazing for progression in Raid Shadow Legends, she isn’t so much an end game speed run champ, but she can be utilized in decent end game teams. In this guide we will cover the main stats surrounding this champion, a list of deliana’s skills and how to use the champion in an end game guide.

This champion has a block buff which can be vital against opponents such as Siphi the Lost Bride or Duchess Lilitu. Furthermore, Deliana has a passive effect that will see her accuracy increase by 2 for every 1000 HP she has. With good gear setups it is possible to reach as high as 200 extra accuracy. Her active effect will apply strengthen to all allies when Deliana is below 50% hp. This can be particularly effective if paired with the right champions such as Kyoku or Seeker in the Arena. Be sure to check out our early game arena guide here.

Deliana Mid Game Guide

This guide we will focus on Deliana as a progression oriented champ at the mid to late game stage. Because of this, the guide will have a couple of caveats. She won’t be booked in this guide to show her abilities on a budget. It is highly recommended to book her if you do have the books though. The value of her books is massive to increase the debuff chances and decrease the skill cooldowns, however she does need a lot of them, and they can be hard to acquire.

Deliana Aura is 33% HP in All Battles. This also factors into her Passive. She has 20k base health, 33% of that is 6756 Health and 2 accuracy per 1,000 gives her another 12 Accuracy. AOE leech on A1 allows you superior wave clear and healing for the whole team. Decrease Resistance on A2 can allow you to lower the Accuracy requirements for the team a bit. A3 is excellent not only due to Block Buffs but also because it can heal your team.

Masteries

We mainly focus on the Offense and Support trees for masteries. If you are later game, the Defense tree would be recommended over Support since you won’t need Sniper or Master Hexer and counter attack chance will help in a lot for content such as Hydra.

In the Offense tree, we take traditional Clan Boss masteries, although she isn’t really a Clan Boss champion. Warmaster is amazing for extra damage on pretty much all PvE content as the T6 mastery. Pretty much every other mastery we take in the Offense tree just increases to her damage, although she doesn’t hit very hard herself, it will help her more since she has Leech on her A1 which will help keep her topped off.

In the Support tree we initially take the Accuracy nodes. The reason for this is because even though she has a passive which gives her more Accuracy, gearing at this stage can be difficult, and this will make it a bit easier to reach the required stats. Following this, we take Cycle of Magic, Sniper and Master Hexer that allows higher chance to land debuffs and lower cooldowns. When booked, these masteries lose a part of their value, especially Sniper.

Gear & Stats Build

Deliana has a lot of Debuffs and they are vital to making her work, so it’s a MUST to have Accuracy on her. We also need to make sure she is using her skills to keep as much uptime on these Debuffs as possible. Due to this we need to make sure she has plenty of Speed. Finally, her passive gives us some Accuracy for extra Health, and she has pretty good base Health and it helps keep her alive, so that’s our final stat to focus on.

Recommended Main Stats:

  • Gloves: HP%
  • Chest: HP% or Accuracy
  • Boots: Speed
  • Ring: Health
  • Amulet: Health
  • Banner: Accuracy

Recommended Sets

  1. Perception (or Accuracy) and Speed
  2. Reflex or Relentless
  3. Immortal or Shield sets – This is more niche if you want her to be very tanky, prioritize the above sets first.

You want approximately 10 times Speed and Accuracy for each level of content you are doing. For example, if you are doing Dragon 20, aim for 200+ Speed and 200 Accuracy. Do not be scared of getting more Speed, but you need to make sure you have no less Accuracy than the 10:1 rule explained just before.

For Dungeon level 20s, aim for 210 Speed, 200-220 Accuracy, and decent Health, 33k is a good start point. Make sure to prioritise those stats over sets especially in the early and midgame.

Hydra Teams

To illustrate how good Deliana is in most PVE content we’ll start of with a 1 key Normal Hydra feature. The team composition and roles for Hydra should be as follows:

  1. Deliana has an important role in this team, because of the Head of Mischief steals Buffs constantly. Deliana plays a crucial role with Block Buffs, and prevents buffs spread across all the heads. Just as a reminder however, Deliana in this guide isn’t booked, so it isn’t a 100% chance to land.
  2. Serris – Mainly here to keep Buffs off the Hydra heads in case they get stolen. A tanky slow, high resistance champion with lots of Buffs on them so the Head of Mischief will target them and won’t steal any buffs is an alternative. However, Deliana + 1 buff stripper (like Serris) are amazing at doing this job.
  3. Scyl – Reviver and healer. Ursala is great but without healing, you can use Godseeker Aniri, Arbiter, Duchess/Siphi as alternatives. Since we have a spot dedicated to Doompriest and the Leech from Deliana, the healing is less important but you will need to feel it out for your own teams.
  4. Drexthar – HP burn is the king of damage for Hydra, and he can keep very high uptime of it on the Heads. He is also guaranteed on the Bazaar. Finally he can provoke the Cleanse Head. You can use any HP burn champion here as an alternative, Geomancer, Mordecai, Tyrant etc… You can also just use a generic damage dealer, but HP burns tend to be more consistent and reliable on lower difficulties.
  5. Ninja – His HP burn explosions deal a lot of damage, and similar to Drexthar, maintaining HP burns is is a great damage source. He isn’t required though, Royal guard and Husk are commonly use for Hydra although max HP hits are not as great in normal and only shine on Brutal and higher difficulties. You can just use any raw damage dealing champion like Athel instead.
  6. Doompriest – Generic healer and here to cleanse the fears from the Head of Torment. If you don’t have DP, you can use Reliquary Tender, just don’t focus that head.
deliana Mid-Game Hydra Teams

Dragon 20 Teams

Deliana allows you to leap from Mid Game to Late Game Dungeons more easily with her kit. For Dragon 20, Deliana is mainly about the Leech and for the Dragon himself, the Strengthen on her passive is a huge boost to survivability, as the Dragon can often instantly kill people while progressing due to how much damage he puts into squishy champs, like Kael. The team composition and roles for Dragon 20 should be as follows:

  1. Deliana deals AoE damage and has Warmaster, so she does put out a decent amount of damage for the waves as well. Additionally, a lot of waves tend to have buffs and Dragon 20 is no different. Hordin and Apothecary are examples, and blocking them helps. It will make your gearing easier overall since you don’t have to worry about the enemies being as quick.
  2. Apothecary – He’s mainly here to keep us going fast, allows us to cycle out turns, and provides a decent single target heal. Because we are also using Reliquary Tender and Deliana, you can use High Khatun instead if you don’t have him.
  3. Reliquary Tender – We are pretty much expecting our champs to die, especially Kael, so having a Revive is very very nice. Additionally the cleanse helps for Dragon 20 specifically since there are quite a lot of Debuffs, including Weaken from the boss which is very nasty. Doompriest and Scyl can both fill this role pretty comfortably, along with any other similar champ you might have. If you don’t have a reviver consider replacing with a Def Up or Ally Protection champions to survive.
  4. Kael – He brings good AoE damage for the waves, and lots of poisons for the boss, lots of champs could fill this role, Ninja was a free Champion and fits very nicely into this slot. You mainly just want a Damage Dealer for the waves, Max HP hit champs like Husk, Royal Guard and Coldheart can also go into this spot.
  5. Drexthar – He was selected because he’s a champ everyone can get, however he isn’t by any means vital to this team. Drexthar’s main role is Crowd Controlling the waves with his Provoke and Decrease Attack.
Deliana mid game dragon 20 team

Ice Golem 20 Teams

For Ice Golem 20, Delianas role remains pretty much the same as Dragon 20, she provides us with a lot of Utility and Healing to keep everyone alive during the Waves, and is still able to put out a decent amount of damage on her own due to Warmaster. For Ice Golem, we are using her Aura of 33% Health, since the boss can hit very hard and we don’t have a 50% Decrease Attack to reduce the bosses damage output, especially when he slams to revive the minions. If you have a champion like Peydma or Tayrel, they would be fantastic to help you through for this reason.

Just like in Dragon 20, she can Block Buffs on the waves, but her main benefit is Leech which helps keep everyone alive. Decrease Resistance also helps us since we are not using an Accuracy Aura this time, and can help you gear champions like Kael easier and more for Damage. The team composition and roles for Ice Golem 20 should be as follows:

  1. Mordecai – He’s mainly just here to help Crowd Control, basically the same role as Drexthar in the Dragon 20 run. A different champion was used to show this slot is pretty flexible, and you can Decrease Turn Meter instead of Provoking (with Drex).
  2. Kael – Our main Damage Dealer. The thing to keep in mind is for Ice Golem, you can actually skip him resummoning the minions if he ticks from HP burns/Poisons/Bombs over certain HP thresholds, so stacking these Debuffs as your main source of damage is typically preferred, as it lowers incoming damage by a lot.
  3. Scyl & Reliquary Tender – Because the boss hits so hard, these 2 champs help to keep everyone full health. More importantly however, this boss hits really hard and our main damage is Kael, who is very squishy, so we expect him to die. The revives they bring are vital.
  4. Deliana deals AoE damage, the same as in Dragon 20.

Fire Knight 20 Teams

For Fire Knight 20, the role remains very similar to the previous Slides. Deliana’s main goal is to be keeping her Debuffs on the waves and making things much easier for your own team. Due to the Fire Knights Shield, she’s not the best champ for this since she only attacks 1 time on all her skills. This however doesn’t mean she can’t help you.

Deliana is once again the MVP for waves, especially while progressing. However her role is slightly different on the boss compared to Ice Golem and Dragon. Although she still does the same things, placing her Debuffs and healing. Fire Knight usually won’t kill you if you can get a Decrease Attack on him. Coldheart may die because she is very very squishy, but often champs will survive as long as you can get through that shield. Because of this, we actually want to prioritize her A1 and make sure her Leech Debuff applies. The reason for this is it becomes a recovery tool since we can’t keep the boss from taking a turn, whereas in Ice Golem, often your champs, especially like Kael, will just be killed.

The other team members used and their roles are as follows:

  1. Apothecary & Scyl are still here for the same reasons, they provide a lot of healing and Scyl can revive either Kael or Coldheart if they happen to go down. Both of these champs also have multiple hits on their A1 which means the shield comes down much faster.
  2. Coldheart – She is amazing for the Fire Knight boss, both to get the Shield down, but reduce his turn meter, do lots of damage, and place Heal Reduction (he heals when his shield comes back up).
  3. Kael – He is here for the same reason as the other dungeons, he is a wave nuker and poisons do a lot of damage to bosses since they are based on the enemies HP, and bosses have very high health.

Deliana End Game Guide

Deliana in useful in Late game as well. Because of how her skill kit is oriented, this guide will be highlighting her AoE capabilities by using her in a Stun Set for wave control, similar to Psylar, however, Deliana is much closer to Scyl who is one of the most versatile Legendaries.

Deliana has tremendous book value and doesn’t require as many as some Legendaries, however, she is capable of doing her job without being booked. The main exception to this is Hydra where you really don’t want to be relying on randomness to place her Block Buffs vs the Head of Mischief.

Masteries

For this guide you can take any tree, one of the rare cases where any tree combination would work. However, we will be focusing on the Offense and Defense trees.

For the Offense tree, the main reason we take it is Warmaster. Because we primarily use her in PvE content, the extra damage can help make things a little faster. Additionally this works well with her Leech Debuff, so she is naturally able to maintain herself much better anyway.

We take the Defense tree for a few reasons. The first is, Masteries like Blast Proof and Delay Death help keep her alive, especially in places like Hydra. We also take the Counter Attack Masteries, this gives us a surprising amount of utility due to Deliana’s A1. For normal wave content such as Dungeons and FW it allows us to place Stuns more often with our set. For more boss oriented stuff like Hydra and Clan Boss it allows us to sustain through Warmaster procs on our Leech, while also reapplying Leech to make sure it doesn’t fall off.

Deliana masteries offense and defense

Gear & Stats Build

In this build a Stun Set is used on Deliana for Crowd Control, as she is primarily a Support champion rather than a damage dealer. We want to maximize her ability to Support our team, especially in wave based content we want to take advantage of the AoE’s. We still need to be able to maintain her stats as well. We want to be rotating her turns at a relatively quick pace, and its vital she has the Accuracy to be landing her Debuffs, both the Leech and Block Buffs are important in different content. Following this, we just want to make her tanky, lucky for us, she’s got good base Health and her Accuracy scales off it.

Recommended Main Stats

  • Gloves: HP%
  • Body: HP% or Accuracy
  • Boots: Speed
  • Ring: HP
  • Amulet: HP
  • Banner: Accuracy

Recommended Sets

  1. Stun; For this guide we use the Stun Set for the 4 piece, however, you can use Provoke to achieve a similar outcome (you can also Provoke the the Head of Decay.)
  2. Perception or Speed
  3. Immortal
Deliana setup

Spider 25 Team

Deliana is amazing for progression, she isn’t so much an end game speed run champ, but she can be utilized in decent end game teams. Let’s start the feature with a quick and safe Spider 25 run in a budget team. Often for progressing in Spider, people recommend the big HP shields from Miscreated Monster or Sir Nick, however, Deliana and Scyl are able to keep control of the Spiderlings pretty well.

We used Mordecai as our damage dealer but you could put in any AOE HP burn champion, including Akoth who is from Normal Doom Tower is guaranteed. The final thing to note is we do use Deliana’s Aura here, we don’t need the Accuracy from Mordecai and Health benefits everyone to stay alive, especially since we don’t have a 100% chance to lock down the enemies.

The other team members and strategy used for successful spider 25 runs is as follows:

  1. Scyl – Mainly here for more control and to revive in case someone goes down, normally Coldheart.
  2. Mordecai – Our damage dealer, as mentioned above, you can use any HP burn for this role, including Akoth who is free to everyone.
  3. Coldheart – Mainly here to keep the bosses turn meter back enough for the HP burns to tick on him.
  4. Reliquary Tender – Mainly a cleanser and an additional Revive. Because we don’t have 100% Stun uptime, the Spiderlings will attack and that means your team will get poisoned sometimes.
Deliana end game spider 25 team

Ice Golem 25 Team

For the most part Deliana’s job is a mixture of Crowd Control and Sustain for Dungeons in a Stun Set. A common theme that will repeat is Deliana with Scyl, the reason for this is these 2 supports perfectly compliment each other. Scyl has healing over time, and a revive as well as Stuns. Deliana has more burst healing and with a Stun Set, can basically keep everything controlled that Scyl doesn’t Stun.

Deliana isn’t a speed clearer, these won’t be fast runs, she thrives in progression and the stage where you need to sustain, before you have solid teams with fast times. Because of this, these next few pages showcase her in a fairly each/cheap team that has plenty of room for improvement.

The other team members and strategy used for successful Ice Golem 25 runs is as follows:

  1. Seer – In this team Seer is just a generic damage champion, we aren’t using her with any reset champ, or Defense Down, and any Weaken you see comes from Seer herself. This spot can be basically anyone.
  2. Scyl – As mentioned above, Scyl covers Deliana’s weaknesses amazingly well and same vice versa, so these two pair amazingly well to keep your team alive and going.
  3. Archmage – Has Synergy with Seer for more damage, however his main role is providing additional Stuns and Turn Meter control alongside both Deliana and Scyl.
  4. Oathbound – Provides even more control, and most importantly, AoE Decrease Attack. You’ll want this for the boss as he hits incredibly hard. You can substitute plenty of champs, including single target ones like Tayrel, it being AoE just makes it more consistent. You can also improve the team by adding champions that have Poison to make the boss stage faster.
Deliana end game ice golem 25 team

Dragon 25 Team

For Dragon 25 we still have a similar team lineup to Ice Golem. Deliana and Scyl are still paired together, as they cover each others weaknesses really well. Kael replaced Seer for a bit of Poison damage on the boss just to make it a bit faster. We are using Mordecai over Hellmut, as he still provides Crowd Control and also a lot more damage. Royal Guard is replacing Oathbound because we don’t really need the Decrease Attack here, you can still use it if you want, these 3 spots are pretty flexible.

The other team members and strategy used for successful Dragon 25 runs is as follows:

  1. Royal Guard – Boss Damage. Any champ can be in this role, could also use a Decrease Attack if you wanted to be tankier.
  2. Scyl – Paired with Deliana as explained before. Just be aware she is weak affinity for Dragon 25.
  3. Kael – Another damage dealer, any champ can be in this role, poison damage against the boss is really nice however.
  4. Mordecai – More damage for the waves and a bit of Crowd Control, another very flexible slot.

No champs are required for this team to work, Scyl is highly recommended due to the synergy but she isn’t required. Aside from this, you just need to make sure you can sustain the waves and get the boss down through his purple Shield.

Deliana end game dragon 25 team

Fire Knight 25 Team

Fire Knight is a different dungeon mechanically, however, we still keep Scyl and Deliana together, although Deliana is now negative Affinity, she is still fantastic here, as her main role is crowd controlling the waves and providing sustain for the team. Alongside these two, we bring in Coldheart and Royal guard, they both have a lot of hits between them to bring the bosses shield down, and the max HP hits they bring are our main source of boss damage. The final champ is Alure. She is one of the best champions for any Fire Knight as the boss won’t take a turn with her on the team.

There are a few different presets for this team to work, unlike the last 2 slides being full auto. For the 2nd wave, we disable Royal guards A3, the reason for this is we want him to open with it on the boss, since its a multi hit and has Decrease Speed on it. We also need to make Coldheart open with her A1 and Alure to disable both her A2 and A3 for the boss. These preset changes make the boss not get a turn and we can permanently keep his shield down.

It will be hard to replace any of these champs, Lyssandra is a replacement for Alure although Alure is more desirable. Additionally, you can replace Royal Guard without too many issues, but you will need another multi-hitter for the shield.

Deliana end game fire knight 25 team

Faction Wars Team

Very similar to how she was used for Dungeons, Deliana in a Stun Set is excellent against the FW waves. High Elves is already considered an easy Faction to complete thanks to the abundance of healers and revivers, and Deliana makes the waves non existent. Although all she really offers for the boss is Leech, that’s not to be overlooked, although High Elves do have lots of healers capable of healing Stage 21, she can be used as a replacement if you don’t happen to have any built. Performing like 1.5 roles.

A strong example team for Faction Wars with Deliana includes:

  1. Tayrel – Our Decrease Defense to make things faster. Although the Decrease Attack is nice, this boss doesn’t hit too hard.
  2. Royal Guard – Our damage dealer, you can use pretty much anyone from this Faction that’s built to do damage. Yannica is from the Clan Shop if you’re struggling, but Elhain is also another really good budget option.
  3. Reliquary Tender – She is mainly here to Cleanse as the boss has a lot of Freeze and Provoke which is really annoying. You don’t need a cleanser, it just makes it easier and quicker having one.
  4. Arbiter – Just our Speed booster, you could use Apothecary for this role if you don’t have her yet. Also Thenasil isn’t too bad in this role for a bit more control and healing, you just need to be aware you’re losing a Speed boost.
