The Max cape is one of Oldschool Runescapes most sought after items. It can only be obtained by achieving level 99 in every skill in the game. Player’s with a maxed out total level can purchase the cape from Mac for 2,277,000 coins. Mac is located at the back of the Warrior’s Guild, you will need an axe and pickaxe to reach him.
The max cape benefits from containing the perks of all skill capes combined in to one cape. A vorkath’s head can be added to the cape to provide the same ammo-saving effects of the Ava’s assembler.
Cape Stats
How long does it take to get the Max Cape?
Following all of the maximum efficiency methods will take you around 1700 hours to max. However, the average player will usually max their account in around 2300 to 2500 hours, if maxing is one of their main objectives.
Max Cape Teleports
The Max Cape has a variety of different teleports that can be used, these are as follows:
- Warriors Guild
- Fishing Guild and Otto’s Grotto
- Crafting Guild
- Tele to PoH and PoH portals
- Chinchompa hunting area teleports
Max Cape Perks
The max cape contains all of the skillcape perks combined into one cape. Some of the perks include:
- Spellbook swap
- Ammo-saving effect similar to Ava’s
- Double hp restore rate
- Considered a warm item at Wintertodt
- Ring of life effect
- Search option for a free Pestle and mortar
- Search option for a free Mithril Grapple & Crossbow
Variants
The max cape can be combined with popular combat capes. This will provide the max cape with the stats of the item used and cosmetically upgrade the cape. However, the skillcape perks of the max cape will all be removed when they are combined.
