Cockatrice are a low level slayer monster. They require a minimum slayer level of 25 to damage. Similar to the Basilisk, a mirror shield or V’s shield is required when fighting these monsters. If you do not have the necessary protection they will reduce your combat stats every hit.

Where to kill Cockatrice in OSRS?
Cockatrice can be found in the Fremennik Slayer Cave. This is the only place in the game you can currently find these monsters. The fastest methods of reaching this area include:

- Rellekka teleport and run east.
- Use the Eagle transport system then run south.
