Melee Necklaces are an important item in any melee gear setup, knowing how to upgrade them is important to your overall account and melee gear progression. Upgrades for the most part are fairly inexpensive, in contrast to other melee slot upgrades. One things for sure is that necklaces are important to create the best melee gear setup.

What are the Best Melee Necklaces in OSRS?

1. Amulet of Torture

The Amulet of Torture is currently the best melee necklace in OSRS. It offers a +10 strength bonus boost, along with +15 attack bonus in each of the melee styles (crush, slash and stab). The item requires a minimum of level 75 it points to be worn.

How to get Amulet of Torture?

To create an Amulet of Torture, players will need to use a level-7 enchant spell on a Zenyte Necklace. The Zenyte necklace is made from a Zenyte Shard, which can only be obtained by killing Demonic Gorillas.

2. Amulet of Fury

The Amulet of Fury is slightly weaker than the Torture. With a strength bonus of +8 and +10 attack bonus to each style respectively. However, it is also cheaper and has no requirements to use it. Additionally, unlike the torture, it gives attack bonus to magic and ranged, making it a viable hybrid necklace.

How to get Amulet of Fury?

To create an Amulet of Fury, players must use a level-6 enchant spell on an Onyx Amulet. The Onyx amulet can be created from an uncut or cut Onyx, which can be obtained from a variety of different methods. These methods include exchanging Tokkul and killing high level bosses such as Zulrah.

Amulet of Blood Fury

Players can attach a blood shard to an Amulet of Fury to create an Amulet of Blood Fury. The Blood Shard can be obtained from Vyrewatch Sentinels and when attached creates a passive healing effect from melee attacks. On average players will heal roughly 6% of the melee damage they deal.

3. Amulet of Strength

The Amulet of Strength gives a strength bonus of +10, similar to the Torture. However, it does not give any attack bonuses. This therefore, makes it slightly worse than the Amulet of Fury. There are also no requirements to use this item and it can be worn in free-to-play worlds.

How to get the Amulet of Strength?

To create an Amulet of Strength, players can use a level-3 enchant spell on a ruby amulet. Alternatively, the Amulet can be bought on the Grand Exchange or by trading with other players.

4. Berserker Necklace

The Berserker Necklace should generally only be worn when using obsidian melee weapons. As it provides a 20% increase to damage when using obsidian melee weapons. The drawbacks of using this necklace is that it reduces the users melee accuracy by -10 in all styles. Making it an unviable necklace for any regular weaponry.

How to get Berserker Necklace?

To create the Berserker Necklace players should use a level-6 enchant spell on an Onyx Necklace.

5. Amulet of Glory

The Amulet of Glory can be a viable melee necklace for many players. It provides +6 strength bonus and +10 attack bonus to all styles. The necklace is an affordable all-round necklace which is commonly used among pkers, as it also has the ability to teleport up to level 30 wilderness.

How to get Amulet of Glory?

To create an Amulet of Glory, players must use a level 5 enchant spell on a dragonstone necklace.
