The Angler’s Outfit is a special set of clothing that boosts experience by up to 2.5% in the fishing skill. The only requirement to equip the set is a minimum of level 34 fishing. If you were to use this set while fishing from levels 34 to 99, you would receive approximately 337k additional fishing experience, essentially for free.
The Anglers outfit is also a requirement for various activities around OSRS. Including fishing minnows and master clue scroll steps, so its good to get it early on if you plan on doing these activities later.
How to get the Anglers Outfit?
To obtain the Anglers set, players will need to play the Fishing Trawler minigame. Every game played will provide a 1 in 12 chance of receiving an outfit piece. Unlike some of the other skilling sets, you can not receive an item you already have, you will always get a unique piece of Angler clothing.

Alternatively, if players do not like the Fishing Trawler minigame or aren’t keen on the RNG factor of receiving the set. Then they can get the set from Alry the Angler, for 100 Molch pearls per piece. The pearls must be obtained from Aerial Fishing.
Cosmetic upgrade to the Spirit Anglers Outfit
Furthermore, the Spirit Anglers set is visually a cosmetically different type of Angler set. It serves the exact same purpose and has all the same benefits as the regular outfit. In addition to some benefits for the Tempoross minigame, where this upgrade is obtained by exchanging spirit flakes.
