Raid Shadow Legends: Nekhret the Great Champion Guide

Nekhret the Great is a legendary void affinity champion from the undead hordes faction in Raid Shadow Legends. His A3 is amazing and sets him apart from other champions in the game, as it provides 3 strong buffs; a block debuff, ally protection and strengthen buff. Furthermore, Nekhret is one of the strongest protection based champions for the Arena, perfect for go second arena teams. He is able to ensure damage dealers can maximise their damage and get their nukes off, but make sure you build him with high HP!

Nekhret the Great Arena Build Guide

Nekhret is a unique metagame arena champion at the time of writing. All of his active and passive skills are useful, and some of them are unique. Nekhret’s primary responsibility and gameplay is to counter the other major arena meta champion: Hegemon. As Hegemon always goes first (whether a CC or a damage build) he can place a variety of debuffs on you. This is typically countered by either using immunity type gear (without an extra cleansing champion) or using a very fast cleanser. However, immunity gear often suffers from lower damage and accuracy stats for your team.

In comes Nekhret, who can protect your lowest HP champion with block debuffs and strengthen + irremovable ally protection at the start of battle before any Hegemon takes a turn. This allows you to protect a fragile nuker in full savage gear. Beyond this Nekhret has 2 key roles in both Arena, and his masteries reflect these skills:

  • Protection against Nuke Hege on A4 and A5: the high base stats (21k HP and 1.3k Def) means he works well in a shield set offering shield to all the party. He also places a shield on anyone attacked under ally protect equal to 30% of Nek’s HP.
  • Ally Attack on A2: teams up with the protected to attack enemy, granting extra turn if it doesn’t kill an enemy and then allowing you expand the protection (A3) or try to place attack down.

Masteries

As this hybrid defence and support champion, you want Nekhret to be faster than your nuker so he can use ally attack and attack down, so that when your nuker take a turn they can kill as much of the enemies as possible, and any retaliating enemy nuker will have ATK Down debuff on them. The mastery selection reflects this:

  • Protection masteries [T6: Bulwark] [Lasting Gifts] [Rejuvenation]
  • Counterattack masteries to land ATK down and Evil Eye [T5: Retribution] [Evil Eye]
  • Survival masteries [Shadow Heal] [Exalt in Death] [Steadfast]

The other alternative T6 mastery would be Unshakable if you would like to exceed 700+ Resistance for the debuffs.

Gear & Stats Build

You want Nekhret to survive as long as possible. Typically, speed should be faster than a slow nuker for offence against Hegemon teams, such as 205 speed for a 190 speed nuker. His A1 can’t be resisted, so feel free to ignore that stat and focus on maximising the others.

Aim for around 100k+ HP, 3.4-4k Defence and 205-225 Speed. Some Accuracy around 250-350 is nice for Evil Eye mastery enablement against non-CC Hegemons. Prioritise substats: 1) HP% – for shield, 2) Defence%, 3) Speed. Shield set with Resilience, Frostbite or Immortal offsets are good.

Recommended Main Stats

  • Weapon/Helm/Shield: with HP% and def% substat
  • Glove: HP%, with def% substat
  • Chest: HP%, with def% substat
  • Boots: HP%, with speed and def% substat
  • Ring: HP, with HP% and Def% substat
  • Amulet: HP, with resistance substat
  • Banner: HP, with speed and HP% substat

Any Reaction accessories are extremely favourable, worth sacrificing some stats for Reaction gear.

Arena Team & Strategy

Nekhret can be operated in 2 primary ways:

  1. [Arena Offence] protect savage nuker (e.g. Trunda) so that the enemy Hegemon can not lock her out and allows her to skip an immunity set that would make her much weaker.
    • When Nekhret goes before the nuker and is not locked out, use A2 ally attack on enemy champion with greatest threat, e.g. Warlord/Kymar with high Turn Meter, enemy reviver if they have more than one.
    • If it doesn’t kill, either place attack down and TM down on enemy nuker/CC with high TM or ally protect on your next weakest champion.
  2. [Arena Defence] can work with Ursuga, Duchess, Siphi to form an ultra defensive team that absorbs a lot of damage and has two revivers and two ally protections. Very hard to take down quickly and good as a stall defence during Platinum battles.

Deciding whom to ally attack and what to do after an ally attack if it doesn’t kill someone is critical to good utilisation of Nekhret. In general, the following patterns hold:

  • Ally attack enemy with highest CC threat (Warlord, Kymar, Kimi) if their TM is very high (higher than your nuker) – aim for kill. Only do this if enemy doesn’t have a Siphi on high TM ready to revive to full TM.
  • Ally attack enemy with high HP% so your nuker can kill next. This normally doesn’t kill it, so try to then either protect a weak Kymar on your team using A3, or A1 Attack down on enemy highest threat champion.

Note the importance of Evil Eye multiple applications from Extra Turns to control the TM with Nekhret. In terms of counters to the champion, focus on Nekhret first if it’s your opponent as he has Bulwark and Ally Protection. Low Defence Nekhrets without reaction gear can be easily taken down, hence the need for a good defence and HP balance and reaction gear.
