Raid Shadow Legends: Necrohunter Champion Guide

Necrohunter is an epic magic affinity champion from the knights revenant faction in Raid Shadow Legends. He is a decent champion overall but has limited use, he would be considered a mid-tier epic for most players. Offering some decent usability but nothing to get excited about. He is best used in Faction Wars teams, as such this guide will provide guidance and strategy on how to best build Necrohunter and how to use him in Faction Wars teams.

Necrohunter Late Game Build Guide

Necrohunter is considered to be one of the worst champions in the game. If you look for the statistics, he is possibly one of the most used 4 star chickens. However, there is one area of the game where he can be useful indeed and that is Faction Wars Crypts. With sufficient stats and masteries you can make a team that will be able to complete this crypt to get Lydia without legendaries or void epics! It is important that you don’t want to build him too well and waste resources on the one hand. On the other he can do his job on minimal investment and that will be the focus of this guide.

His most important ability is a Decrease DEF on the A1 default skill that will help reduce the damage dealt by the Valkyries on the second wave and kill the boss quickly. It is also an ability that currently only a few champion in this faction posses. The base chance is 50% probability which is sufficient and there is no need to book Necrohunter. The other 2 abilities are simple dps skills and have decent multipliers.

Masteries

This skill sets along with Warmaster T6 mastery makes it possible to kill the boss before it uses the ability to exchange life in 12 turns resets cooldown. Gravestorm has only a 50% chance to attack twice which makes it unreliable for consistent damage and is the mainly reason why this champion doesn’t have many uses outside of the faction.

The rest of the masteries are a semi-classic defense build with Retribution and Deterrence that focus on damage dealing and survival capabilities.

Gear & Stats Build

The most important stats is ACC then a balance between Crit Rate, Crit Damage and Speed. Although he does not need 100% Crit Rate it is recommended as well as 250 acc. Stats for Necrohunter can vary greatly depending on the accompanying champions. In the featured composition four support champions were used and he was the one that did most of the damage.

It is recommended to build him with 100% crit rate and at least 200% crit damage along with at least 3000 atk without forgetting the ACC so that you can place Decrease DEF which is its his most important ability. For Faction Wars ACC of between 200 and 250 is recommended, with an advanced GH.

Recommended Main Stats

  • Gloves: Crit Damage with crit rate substats
  • Chest: ATK% / ACC
  • Boots: Speed
  • Ring: ATK
  • Amulet: Crit Damage with acc substat
  • Banner: ATK / ACC

It is important to keep a balance and if you have more offensive champions on the team and less support then it will be necessary to give him more HP and DEF and less damage so that he is able to survive.

Faction Wars Team & Strategy

The team featured here shows a full team of non-void epic champions defeating one of the toughest factions on auto. Rector Drath is the key here that makes auto possible. She has Veil buff, healing and revive along with ATK Down debuff on A1. Rector does not need any special masteries and can be built in a generic way, trying to make her as tanky as possible (regen, immortal, reflex sets for example). If you are going to try manual, make sure not to use the heal with Rector just before the boss steals the buffs.

Bergoth needs to be booked to increase the chances of applying the provoke, but you can do it without it if you are patient and ready for rng to keep the Valkyries on wave 2 in stun and provoke. It is important not to build Belgorth with high Crit Rate because the boss can steal the Continious heal buffs that he applies on A1. While Sinesha can be used for healing and works well in a stun set to keep the waves under stuns.

Doompriest with Relentless set can be utilised to remove the debuffs from the waves and from boss skills. Additional passive healing is a nice bonus. Finally, Necrohunter is the main dps of the team and provides Decrease DEF that is a key dps enabler for the whole team especially if they have Warmaster as their T6 mastery.

Beyond the Faction Wars, Necrohunter usage is not generally recommended, but perhaps he will be the key to your goal of 3 starring this Knight Revenant Faction and getting Lydia! Note that the same team will work in hard Doom Tower Secret Room 10 of the Eternal Dragon rotation that requires Knight Revenant Epics
