Raid Shadow Legends: Ithos Champion Guide

Ithos is a legendary void affinity champion from the high elves faction in Raid Shadow Legends. He is one of the heaviest hitting AOE champions in Raid and super effective at speed running nightmare campaign stage 12-6, which we will include detail guidance on during this guide. Due to his damage dealing capabilities, he is awesome in a wide variety of content, including dungeon runs and the arena. All of this will be covered in detail during this champion guide, with build information, tactics and team compositions provided for each type of content.

Ithos End Game Build Guide

Ithos is a Void Legendary champion from the High Elves that is one of the best nukers and damage dealers in game, with 2 AOE abilities and a strong A1 skill. He is an old champion that has been around for a while but remains one of the best for a large number of areas of the game. Ithos has a very high base attack with high damage multipliers and Void affinity so he can never weak hit, making him an incredibly consistent nuker and damage dealer. In the Arena, he is often a preferred choice against force enemies or mixed affinity enemies and in the Dungeons, he is a very consistent DPS since he can never weak hit.

Skills

Booking Ithos is not necessary but is highly recommended as his main purpose is to deal damage and the damage increase gained from book will significantly improve his damage potential. Lowering the Cooldowns on his AOEs will be very relevant in Dungeon content.

Masteries

For Masteries, we will select the standard Nuker Offense and Defense tree masteries. We will take the standard Crit Rate, Crit Damage, Heart of Glory and the two right masteries on T3 and T4. Whirldwind of Death, Cycle of Violence, Kill Streak, Methodical are great masteries for a PVE nuker as they allows Ithos to scale throughout the run. Finally T6 Helmsmasher is a good option if you can achieve the required 220+ Crit Damage.

In the Defense Tree, take Improved Parry for damage reduction against Crit, Bloodthirst for healing with each kill, Delayed Death for survivability and the T5 Retribution for chance to Counterattack.

Gear & Stats Build

The best set for Ithos as a DPS Nuker are Savage and Cruel. Although Ithos has an ability that guarantees a Crit, it is still highly recommend to build him with 100% Crit Rate if you use him in other content and not just Arena.

If you only use him in Arena, 100% Crit Rate is not necessary. An arena specific build will be covered later on the pages of the guide dedicated to it. The next focus is to get as much Attack and Crit Damage as possible with enough speed to match your team so your turn sequence doesn’t get cut into. Ideally at least 4k+ Attack, 200%+ Crit Damage, and 200+ speed. If you are unable to build him in Savage, the next best sets are Triple Cruel. If neither is an option any other combination that can help you achieve the recommended stats will work.

Recommended Main Stats

  • Glove: Crit Damage %
  • Chest: Attack %
  • Boots: Speed/ Attack % (If you have enough Speed substats)
  • Ring: Attack
  • Amulet: Crit Damage
  • Banner: Attack

Nightmare campaign

Ithos is currently the best and fastest Nightmare Campaign Farmer in the game due to his kit and extremely fast animations. However, he requires good gear to be able to do it. Great news is that the gear requirement is no different than any other content you use him in. However, it is important to note that you need at least 206 Speed so that Ithos can go twice before the mobs take a turn.

Players can take form a team for nightmare campaign with the following additional champions:

  1. Ultimate Galek
  2. Tallia
  3. Oathbound

Dungeon Runs

Dragon 20

On Dragon 20, Ithos can play the role of a DPS Nuker. Paired with an Increase Attack buff and AOE Decrease Defense debuffs on enemies, he can single handedly clear both waves easily. He also deals significant damage to the Dragon so you don’t have to rely entirely on a Poisoner for damage.

This team showcases an example of a budget Dragon 20 team:

  1. Ithos provides the DPS as described above.
  2. Warmaiden for AOE Decrease Defense.
  3. Gorgorab supports with Increase Attack, TM Boost, healing, and revives.
  4. Mausoleum Mage supports with his Buffs and Cleanse.
  5. Frozen Banshee as the Poisoner against the Dragon.

Dragon 25

Dragon 25 will be tougher as the mobs and boss boast much higher HP. Ithos still performs his role as a DPS Nuker but he cannot do it alone if you want fast runs. We need the help of secondary DPS to speed up the run. The team below showcases an example of a Dragon 25 team with Ithos in the same DPS role:

  1. Ma’shalled providing his Buffs and CC against the waves and Leech on the Dragon so the team can heal.
  2. Gorgorab in still in the team to support with Increase Attack, TM Boost, healing, and revives.
  3. Venus for AOE Decrease Defense, Weaken and Poisons against the Boss.
  4. Cruetraxa as Pure single target DPS against the Dragon.

Venus is replaceable with any other Decrease Def champion and Cruetraxa can be replaced with any Poisoner.

Fire Knight 20

In Fire Knight 20 Ithos can take on the same role as a DPS Nuker. Paired with an Increase Attack and AOE Decrease Defense, he can clear both waves easily. Ithos can also help take down the shield charges. He has a triple hit A2 and his A1 can proc extra turns. This team below showcases an example of a budget Fire Knight 20 team:

  1. Ithos provides the wave DPS mentioned above.
  2. Stag Knight for AOE Decrease Defense, Decrease Attack, and Decrease Speed.
  3. Gorgorab Increase Attack, TM Boost, healing, and revives.
  4. 2 Coldheart as the must include in all FK 20 teams with her multi-hitter to take down the shield and Heartseeker to drop TM and deal massive damage to the Fire Knight.

Fire Knight 25

Fire Knight 25 will be tougher as the mobs and boss here have much higher HP. The Fire Knight also has more shield charges (12) than FK 20. Ithos can still performs his role as a DPS Nuker on the waves, but he cannot do it alone if you want fast runs. We need the help of secondary DPS to speed up the run. Ithos can also help take down the shield charges due to triple hit A2 and his A1 can proc extra turns. The team below showcases an example of a Fire Knight 25 team with Ithos in the same DPS role:

  1. Alure replaces the 2 Coldhearts, as they are no longer as effective in Stage 21+ dungeons. Alure will control the Fire Knight by constantly decreasing his TM.
  2. Stag Knight still provides AOE Decrease Defense, Decrease Attack and Decrease Speed which is crucial against the Fire Knight now that TM reduction effects are limited.
  3. Ma’shalled providing his Buffs, namely Increase Speed and CC against the waves and Leech so the team can heal. Gorgorab is still in the team to support with Increase Attack, TM Boost, healing, and revives.
  4. Gorgorab is also useful here against the Gnalhorns who are occasionally able to place Unkillable on themselves which cause a loop from Alure constantly reducing it’s TM so it never runs out. Gorgorab’s A1 can remove buffs if he is built with enough accuracy.

Ice Golem 20

In Ice Golem 20 Ithos takes on the same role. If you build a team with an Increase Attack and AOE Decrease Defense, he can single handily clear both waves easily. The important thing to note for Ice Golem is that there is a problem with Ithos where he does too much damage and constantly triggers the Ice Golem Big Retaliation Slam so you need to build a team with supports that can heal, revive and provide a Decrease Attack as you will be constantly be taking hits. This team below showcases an example of a budget Ice Golem 20 team:

  1. Ithos provides the DPS as described above.
  2. Stag Knight provide AOE Decrease Defense, Decrease Attack and Decrease Speed.
  3. Gorgorab and Scyl supports with Increase Attack, TM Boost, healing, and revive if things go south.
  4. Doompriest for additionally healing and debuff cleanse.
Ithos ice golem 20 team

Ice Golem 25

Ice Golem 25 will be tougher as the mobs and boss here have much higher HP. Ithos still performs his role as a DPS Nuker but he cannot do it alone, at least not quickly. We need the help of secondary Nukers to make the run faster. Additionally, we need a lot more survivability in the team to survive the hard-hitting mobs and boss. This team below showcases an example of an Ice Golem 25 team:

  1. Ithos has the same DPS role with Stag Knight provide AOE Decrease Defense, Decrease Attack and Decrease Speed (Stag Knight is negative affinity here so, he is not ideal but still works. A better champion would be Dhukk the Pierced for this role).
  2. Gorgorab supports with Increase Attack, TM Boost, healing, and revives.
  3. Sir Nick for his Shields, Continuous Heals and Unkillable to improve the team’s survivability.
  4. Rotos for additional DPS and to Block the minions from Reviving.

Ithos Arena Build Guide

For Arena, there are two different ways to build a Ithos. The masteries remain identical to the ones covered in the early section of this guide. You might want to make small adjustments depending on your team, e.g. pick Stoked to Fury if you are using Gurptuk. However, the gear can vary depending on your team composition and needs.

Gear & Stats Build

If you are using Ithos in all other content as well, the Savage and Cruel sets with 100% Crit Rate as shown in the guide earlier are recommended as it will also function very well in a standard Arena team as well. This team will usually be the standard Speed team with TM Boost, Decrease Defense and Nuke strategy. You want to build Ithos with enough speed so you don’t get speed cut by your opponents (see speed tune guide [1] to make sure your arena team is speed tuned). Selecting A2 priority in the AI setting can be helpful for maximum DPS output.

Another build is a specialty Arena build with Immunity or Untouchable set. In Immunity type sets, it is most common to build for a high crit rate (65-85%) but not 100% with high attack (5.5k+) and crit damage (250%+) as his A3 guarantees a crit. The 3 hit A2 does more damage and is good against targets that require multiple hits (Rotos) though. This build is mainly used against the popular Arena nuisance defences like Hegemon and Tormin. You can use the AI setting to prioritise A3 usage on arena.

As this type of Ithos is used often against slow annoying enemies of mixed affinities, not a speed team, speed tuning your team is not always necessary, but you usually want him with at least around 210-230 speed.

Recommended Main Stats

  • Glove: Crit Damage
  • Chest: Att%
  • Boots: Speed, or Att% with high speed sub-stats
  • Ring: Att
  • Amulet: Crit Damage
  • Banner: Att

Gold 4 Arena

Ithos is one of the top and most consistent Arena Nuker in the game. Due to being Void Affinity, he doesn’t have the weakness of a chance to weak hit that all other affinity nukers do. He has 2 AOE abilities with high multipliers and one of them being a triple hitter which is very relevant against Rotos and the new Reaction Accessories.

The Arena team showcased below and their roles are as follows:

  1. Arbiter for TM Boost and Increase Attack
  2. Lyssandra for a secondary TM Boost
  3. Madame Serris to remove buffs and place Decrease Defense
  4. Ithos to nuke
Ithos gold arena team

Platinum Arena (Immunity Build)

Immunity Ithos is necessary to counter Hegemon and Tormin teams. As with a standard Ithos, you want high attack (5.5k or more) and reasonable crit rate for A2 against Rotos. An Immunity Ithos is most commonly paired with an Immunity Kymar, a Shield Set Champion for protection like Krisk or Maulie, and a Decrease Defense Champion that does not wake up the enemies from Sleep like Madame Serris.

This team functions with Prince Kymar being the fastest in the team and sleeping the Enemies. Since this team is usually used against slower teams, a well built Prince Kymar will usually go first. Then, Madame removes buffs on any that resisted Kymar’s strip and places Decrease Defense without waking the sleeping enemies before Ithos Nukes. A Shield champion is in the team for protection against Hegemon Nuke. This team has the disadvantage of not having an Increase Attack Buff but benefits by having attack down and a safer 2-3 turn victory through Kymar resetting skill cooldowns so your team can go again.

Arbiter Madame is also quite good if you have an extra Arbiter to build in immunity to replace Prince Kymar, but there are risks of a speed gap between Arbiter and Ithos since there is no AOE sleep to CC the enemies so Ithos can safely take a turn.
