Raid Shadow Legends: High Khatun Champion Guide

High Khatun is a epic champion from the Barbarian Faction in Raid Shadow Legends. He has a spirit affinity and is obtained as a free reward after 30 days of Raid Shadow Legends. High Khatun’s speciality is speed and he is particularly effective in the early game part of raid shadow legends, helping players power through to mid game and beyond. Additionally, players will find High Khatun is very effective in the arena, although her turn meter boost, speed buff, speed aura and ability to decrease opponents turn meter can be good in all realms. Although, don’t forget to maximise her accuracy in order to land the turn meter decrease on your targets.

High Khatun Early Game Guide

High Khatun is a free epic spirit affinity champ that is impactful for early game. Her skills focus primarily on Speed. Her Aura grants a Speed boost of 19% of each individual’s base stat which helps to compliment her uses in Arena, Dungeons and Faction Wars.

It is not necessary to book HK out if being used for Arena only, if you have a surplus of Books then investing into her A2 would not be a waste. Her most important skill is the A2 as this fills the teams Turn Meter by 15% and increases Speed by 30% for two turns.

Skills

For early game Arena the rest of your teams Speed is based on HKs Speed. Her A1 skill has a 25% chance to place a 30% decrease Speed. When fully booked the chances increase to 40% to land, while also increasing A1’s damage by 20%. HKs A3 attacks all enemies and has a 50% chance to decrease the Turn Meter by 15%. This shows that HK is built to help Speed your team while decreasing Turn Meters and Speeds of the enemy teams, something you find present in most Arena teams as the team that goes first tends to have the biggest advantage.

Masteries

For the Support Tree: Notable Masteries to take include Pinpoint Accuracy, Charged Focus and Swam Smiter for increased Accuracy to potentially allow High Khatun’s A3 to drop enemy turn meter. Other Masteries include Rapid Response to increase Turn Meter in longer fights, Lore of Steel for extra Speed on Speed sets and Evil Eye for another form of dropping Turn Meter.

For the Defense Tree: Improved Parry for more sustainability, Resurgent for the potential buff removal, and Delay Death for increased Turn Meter. The main idea of these Masteries is High Khatun stays as fast as possible and gains as much Turn Meter as possible to continue to rotate her abilities.

Gear & Stats Build

For Gear the most important sets for High Khatun are Speed sets. You can ignore all other sets as long as it gives her more Speed. Ideally you want her in 3 Speed sets as it helps to boost Lore of Steel and will give her extra Speed sets; it will give her an extra 5.4% of Speed. High Khatun is a special Turn Meter Champion which means you can justify using flat main stats on items as long as you get good Speed rolls on them. Other notable sets would be Divine Speed, and if struggling for sets Perception is usable but not ideal.

Additionally if you do happen to take your High Khatun to 6* you can equip her with a Banner, which also can have potential Speed set subroles. For gear that you cannot obtain Speed as a main role, if you can you should build her tankier, which allows her to stay alive longer.

Recommended Main Stats

  • Gloves: HP% / Def%
  • Chest: HP% / Def%
  • Boots: Speed
  • Ring: HP% / Def%
  • Amulet: Def% / HP%/
  • Accuracy (if possible)
  • Banner: HP% / Accuracy

High Khatuns gear does not need to be fully rolled to 16, only the boots need to be.

Team Composition in the Arena

In Arena you want your High Khatun to be the fastest champion on your team and also to be taking the leader spot for her Aura unless you have another champion who has a better Speed Aura. High Khatun’s main job in Arena is to increase the Turn Meter of everyone and place the increased Speed Buff on everyone, which then allows the rest of your team to have their turns before being cut in. Which then [as long as you are Speed tuned] creates a smooth Arena fight and ensures all of your champions to have their turns and typically one shot the enemy team. If you find yourself going into the next turn with High Khatun, her A3 can be used to decrease the enemy Turn Meter by 15% percent. To find out what Speeds you need for the rest of your team, you can use this Arena Speed tune calculator to ensure all of your champions go after High Khatun to prevent the enemy from cutting in.

The team was used for the following reasons:

  • High Khatun for Speed Boost / Turn Meter Decrease
  • Tayrel for Defense Down
  • Crimson Helm for Provoke
  • Kael for Nuking
