Ghrush the Mangler is an epic spirit affinity champion from the ogryn tribes faction in Raid Shadow Legends. He is a well rounded epic champion, with applications at a variety of different content depending how how and when you want to use him. He provides a decent amount of AOE focused damage, and holds valuable debuffs such as Leech and decrease atk. This makes him especially strong in areas such as Clan Boss, which is covered in this guide. We will also cover information on a general build for Ghrush and how to use him in Faction Wars and Ice Golem.

A1: Gore-Slick Maul
Attacks 1 enemy. Has a 50% chance of placing a [Leech] debuff on the target for 2 turns before attacking.

Ghrush the Mangler Late Game Build Guide
Ghrush the Mangler is a Spirit affinity Epic Ogryn Tribe Epic champion that all players will receive as a 240-day Login reward. If you are still progressing through the game or are still in the mid-game when you get him, he can be a solid addition to your roster.
He is a great mid-game option for Clan Boss and can help your team transition out of Lifesteal gear, a great champion in Ice Golem, and is core for the Ogryn Tribe Faction War. This is due to the Leech debuff that he can place. It allows the whole team to Lifesteal at about half the rate of the LS set.
Masteries
Taking the Offense and Support trees are recommended for Ghrush. For the Offence tree Crit Rate, Crit Damage, standard damage increasing masteries down to the T6 Warmaster are chosen. On the Support tree, the accuracy masteries are selected.
Avoid taking the TM increasing masteries (Arcane Celerity or Rapid Response) if you are using him in Clan Boss as it will ruin your speed tune, namely Counterattack or Unkillable compositions. Lore of steel is valuable on Ghrush as you generally won’t be equipping 4-piece sets like Lifesteal on him so you can gain addition stats from the basic sets, Evil Eye for some TM control, Sniper to increase Debuff chane and Master Hexer to increase the debuff duration.
Gear & Stats Build
Gearing Ghrush is fairly simple. Focus on building Defense, Accuracy, Crit Rate, Crit Damage, and enough speed to match your team, especially for Clan Boss.
Ideally reaching 4000 Defense, 220-250 Accuracy, 100% Crit Rate and as much Crit Damage as possible is preferred for Ultra-Nightmare clan boss. Since he doesn’t not require Lifesteal, you can gear him with any sets to reach his stats. The basics sets that give extra stats like Defense, Speed, Accuracy, Crit Rate, Crit Damage, etc will work and can assist you in reaching those stats.

Clan Boss Team & Strategy
Ghrush is a solid mid-late game option for Clan Boss. He has a high chance of placing the Leech Debuff on his A1, can place Decrease Attack as a backup, and provide some heal through Continuous heal buffs.
He is also Def based making it easier to build him to survive and he has good multipliers to deal damage. His Leech debuff and continuous heal buffs lessens the burden of requiring to build 5 different champions in Lifesteal gear as it is enough to heal your team. You should then be able to build your champions with better stats with better sets. His Leech is also unique it that he places it before attacking which means that it cannot weak hit allowing him to be used in all affinity.
If you’d like to build a strong team, the champions used and their speeds are as follows:
- Sepulcher Sentinel 227 –Decrease Attack, Block Stun, Increase Defense
- Ghrush 172 – Leech, Continuous Heal, Back up Decrease Attack
- Rhazin 174 – Decrease Defense, Weaken
- Occult Brawler 176 – Poisoner
- Skullcrusher 171 – Counterattack, Ally Protection
This team works on UNM, NM and on all affinity except Spirit due to the Slow Debuff that the CB places.
Ice Golem Team & Strategy
Ghrush is a decent option for Ice Golem 20 if you are struggling in that area. He does decent AOE damage to help with the waves, places AOE ATK Down and provides healing for the team as well as the Leech debuff. The team below showcases an IG20 team with 3 of the free champions everyone receives, Dark Elhain for Damage, Scyl for healing, Crowd Control, and Ghrush. Tayrel provides AOE Decrease Def and Gorgorab can support with TM boosting, healing and revive if things go South.
Faction War Team & Strategy
Ghrush is an excellent addition for Ogryn Tribe Faction Wars. He provides healing which is lacking in the faction. He provides multiple Continuous Heals to the team and leech debuff on the enemy, a great Def % Faction Wars aura, and also does decent amount of damage to help with dealing with the waves.
The FW21 boss hits quite hard and does AOE HP Burn which gradually lowers your team’s health making heals important. His Atk down, although not as reliable, can help with lowering the damage your team takes. For teams that don’t have Maneaters Ghrush is even better and can help secure the three stars in this Crypt.
