Raid Shadow Legends: Duchess Lilitu Champion Guide

Duchess Lilitu is a legendary spirit affinity champion from the demonspawn faction in Raid Shadow Legends. She is arguably one of the most flexible champions, capable of carrying at a wide variety of content in raid. Duchess is one of the strongest defence champions in the arena, with her revive ability and ability to keep your best DPS champions protected behind her veil. She is also a great champion for dungeons and various different Doom Tower bosses, all of which will be covered later in this guide based on first-hand experience.

Duchess Lilitu Late Game+ Guide

Duchess Lilitu is one of the most versatile champions in Raid and can be used in any area. She continues to be relevant in all content, although there are variations in builds.

Skills

Booking her A2 and A3 for decreased cooldowns to take advantage of the Buffs she provides and the mass revive is needed. Her A1 shield does not provide much benefit when booked so if you were able to get the upgrades for her other skills don’t spend extra books.

Her A2 provides three important buffs: Block Debuffs that helps against a variety or threats. ATK Up that can help your damage dealers and Perfect Veil that hides the rest of the team and reduces incoming AOE damage by 15% synergizing well with Duchess passive that further reduces AOE damage by 25% (15% vs bosses).

Masteries

In terms of masteries Lilitu is relatively easy to build. She needs as much survivability as possible in a standard build. Her T6 mastery choice will depend on how you’re planning to use her. If you are using her for Clan Boss you will want to pick Warmaster as the T6 mastery. This will be the discussed in the respective CB build further down the line.

If you are using Lilitu to break into top Platinum you might want to use a specialised build with Timely Intervention and a Swift Parry set ignoring stacking the Resistance and opting for more speed, HP/DEF. This is a new variation and not covered here.

Outside of those cases the golden standard for Lilitu for a long time has been to stack her with 600+ Resistance for Platinum Arena and use her everywhere. This will be the main showcase build that still works for a majority of players.

In this build Unshakable is selected as the T6 mastery for +50 Resistance. Masteries that increase the chances to survive are all selected in the Support and the Defence trees. This allows Lilitu to become one of the tankiest champions for all content and provides a lifeline to your team even if they are fully wiped.

Gear & Stats Build

Gearing for Lilitu in this build is quite straightforward. You prefer 600+ Resistance for Platinum Arena or at least 350+ for Hard Doom Tower. 240+ Speed is wanted for Lilitu so that she is sufficiently fast to cycle through her skills. Everything else is spent on maximising her HP and DEF for survivability.

She can use any sets for gearing. Speed sets and Resistance sets are good baselines. However, the substats and glyphs play an important role in Late Game+. Great Hall upgrades can also help reach the required parameters. It should also be noted that the Clan vs Clan Reflex jewellery is amazing on Lilitu and if you have it and use her in Arena this should be a priority for her.

Recommended Main Stats

  • Glove: HP%/DEF%
  • Chest: Resistance
  • Boots: Speed
  • Ring: HP/DEF
  • Amulet: HP/DEF
  • Banner: Resistance

Duchess in Platinum Arena

There are more than 400 champions in Raid. But there are only a select few that consistently show up in Platinum Arena and Lilitu is one of them. If you are using the standard universal build with Resistance you can use her both in Attack and Defence.

Lilitu is not meant to be used in a Speed boost team that is a staple for Gold IV and below. She is the grindy champion that makes your team survive thanks to her kit. Her Block Debuffs allows the team to avoid Tormin freeze. Her Perfect Veil and passive reduce the incoming AOE damage and make the enemies focus her.

Reviving with 70% health makes it possible to prolong your fights.

Duchess Lilitu Late Game+ Dungeon Runs

Dragon 20

Duchess Lilitu can work in any dungeon no matter the level or affinity. For Dragon 20 she is negative affinity, but this doesn’t stop her at all. The combination of high resistance, HP, DEF and speed means you will be able to complete this dungeon in variety of ways with Lilitu as the main enabling champion. She is one of the select group of champions that has 3 buffs on her A2 skill. This synergies well with Seer and allows speed runs in dungeons.

Team Build

  1. Dracomorph serves as the DEF Down/Weaken champion.
  2. Lilitu provides the buffs.
  3. Seer is the main damage dealer for waves.
  4. Zavia is the poisoner for the boss.
  5. Renegade decreases the skill cooldowns.

Note that there is a shield set on Renegade to add additional buffs that Seer can use for Karma burn. Additionally, removing the buffs inluding Perfect Veil makes your champions more vulnerable to AOE Damage. However, for speed runs you usually one-shot waves anyway and have a way do deal with the bosses before it starts to matter.

Fire Knight 20

Fire Knight 20 is a good affinity for Duchess Lilitu. She can be a comfortable pick for this dungeon.

Lilitu can carry your team through the waves and revive if needed. On the boss she provides the damage reduction that can help your team survive longer. The team composition is standard for speed runs.

Team Build

  1. Lilitu as the enabler and reviver.
  2. Dracomorph as the DEF Down/Weaken (note that it’s not affected by affinity).
  3. Seer as the wave clearer.
  4. Two Coldhearts for MAX HP damage nukes and full TM Depletion on the boss. Heal reduction debuff is also relevant but by this stage of the game it’s redundant.

Spider 20

Spider 20 is one of the most popular dungeons for both the jewellery and silver farming. While Lilitu is not the most useful champion for speed runs there, she can provide this buff as part of her kit and protect the squishy champions from their demise thanks to the perfect Veil.

Team Build

In this composition

  1. Spider champion places DEF Down/Weaken and provides a speed Aura (note that it’s not affected by affinity).
  2. Scyl of the Drakes provides AOE Stuns, healing and Decrease Speed on Skavag.
  3. Coldheart is a MAX HP Nuke champion and full TM depletion.
  4. Septimus is a MAX HP Nuker.
  5. Lilitu provide the ATK Up buff and protects the rest of the champions.

Lilitu also has a specific synergy with Ultimate Galek who can provide AOE HP Burn conditional if he has the ATK UP buff. ATK Up is a part of her kit and can work well as an enabler for him

duchess spider 20

Ice Golem 20

The last regular dungeon that is covered in this guide is Ice Golem 20. The speed runs with Seer are viable in this case and the example team makeup is as follows.

Team Build

  1. Dracomorph as the DEF Down/Weaken champion.
  2. Lilitu as the enabler for Seer, block debuffs provider and dmg reduction from AOE attacks.
  3. Archmage Hellmut as the provider of additional buffs in particular speed buff and Crit Damage buff for Septimus.
  4. Seer as the wave nuker. Note how she dies during on the second wave due to reflect.
  5. Septimus as a single target MAX HP Nuker

Note that a shield set to add additional buffs so that Seer can use the buff for Karma burn is a good idea. However, removing the buffs inluding Perfect Veil makes your champions more vulnerable to AOE Damage on the boss stage. For speed runs you usually one-shot waves and have a way do deal with the bosses before it starts to matter, but use this with caution in this dungeon.

Crypt 21

Lilitu is a faction defining champion if you pull her. Nearly any team can work with her, even some funky compositions that rely on Souldrinker bombs to be placed and activated on his death only to be revived by Duchess.

In a standard setting the only wave that can realistically be a problem with Lilitu with this build is the second wave of crypt 21 with Valkyries that get a turn meter boost from her buffs. The way to deal with it during runs are:

  1. Turn meter reduction with champions like Alure, Diabolist, Countess Lyx.
  2. Control with champions like Kymar.
  3. AOE Provoke strategies with Umbral Enchantress and Dexthar.

Duchess can supplement any combination of those strategies and facilitate runs on auto.

Doom Tower Runs

Floor 114

The combination of Siphi and Rotos is one of the strongest threats in Doom Tower, especially on the second wave of floor 114. If you are not one-shotting with Seer (except for Rotos) there are not that many options to pass it. The main reasons are:

  1. Siphi’s passive removes all debuffs from Rotos when he takes a turn.
  2. Rotos becomes stronger making it only a question of time until he leeches enough HP and starts wiping out your team completely. And on second wave there are two Rotos waiting for you.

The featured team relies on Turn Meter control to prevent the problematic champions from taking a turn. Duchess saves and protects the team in case of mishaps.

Team Roles

The featured team relies on:

  1. Lilitu for Block Debuffs
  2. Venus provides the DEF Down/Weaken
  3. Nethril and Lyssandra provide TM control
  4. Big’Un is the damage dealer and CC

Duchess can supplement any combination of those strategies and facilitate runs on auto.

duchess floor 114

Magma Dragon

Magma Dragon is one of the easier Doom Tower bosses. Most teams that farm it rely on its weakness to the Provoke debuff. In the featured team

Team Roles

  1. Lilitu provides Block Debuffs, revive and damage reduction passive.
  2. Warchief provides the constant single target Provoke on the boss.
  3. Rhazin is the DEF Down/Weaken applicator.
  4. Royal Guard helps with the wave clearing and some damage.
  5. Arbiter for Speed Buff and TM buff.

With the nerf to MAX HP damage on bosses you can replace Royal Guard with any champion who can help clear the waves and deal damage to the boss including poisoners.

Nether Spider

Nether Spider can be a problematic boss in hard Doom Tower, especially if he is Magic for Lilitu. However, Duchess can still be useful there.

While Block Debuffs doesn’t help against poisons on the boss stage, the ability to revive the whole team with a huge health pool is invaluable and allows the team to grind down the waves and the boss on auto.

Team Roles

  1. Lilitu – revive and AOE Damage reduction
  2. Drexthar – the main damage dealer as both the Nether spider and spiderlings attack him and apply burn for the AOE effect
  3. Rotos – damage dealer and helps clear the waves faster. Easiest to replace.
  4. Doompriest – removal of debuffs and healing from passive
  5. Scyl – Decrease Speed debuff and healing
duchess nether spider

Celestial Griffin

Celestial Griffin can be a problematic boss to tackle. Thankfully, Duchess Lilitu has the kit to help with completion.

Team Roles

  1. Lilitu reduces damage from AOE attacks and provides revive in case some of the champions die in the process. Griffin hits extremely hard at maximum stacks of his passive and champions below 50% health get extra hits on them. Reviving at 70% health on a low cooldown once again makes Lilitu a viable enabler on this boss.
  2. Scyl is the secondary reviver in this fight as towards the end Lilitu alone may not be enough or the boss may take her out of comission. Her passive healing helps keep everyone topped up.
  3. Rotos is the main damage dealer and stacks up good damage over time. His A2 and passive allow him to stay alive well throughout the fight.
  4. Drexthar is the secondary damage dealer. He is able to permanently keep the boss under the HP burn debuff
  5. Doompriest can remove the few debuffs the boss reflects on your team and the passive can heal the team back up.
duchess celestial griffin

Eternal Dragon

Eternal Dragon can be a problematic boss in hard Doom Tower. As all the attacks on the stage are AOE, Duchess can be of help with reducing the incoming damage. Short Cooldowns on skills helps in this boss so the team composition has to take this into account.

Team Roles

  1. Lilitu takes center stage once again with her kit and revive on a short cooldown
  2. Nekhret provides increased survivability for the team
  3. Tyrant ensures further AOE damage reduction with his passive and AOE HP Burn application
  4. Bad el-Kazar main purpose is healing and debuff removal on short cooldown
  5. Doompriest provides healing from the passive and debuff removal

The team relies on having short cooldowns of skills and to survive while the HP burn ticks take out the boss
